“visited build a bear in the oshawa center recently. Was helped by Lauren, who was hands down the best employee at any establishment I’ve been to! Her energy was so uplifting and paid such great attention to my niece and nephew, who were unsure of which bear to pick. She helped them find the perfect one, stuffed it to their liking, and then helped them add their voice to it. They are over the moon with their bears and Lauren is to thank for this! “Easily the best vintage toy shop in Ontario! The Nerds here (and I mean that in the best possible way) have curated one of the most extensive collections of action figures & accessories, back-issue comic books, and pop culture collectibles you'll ever encounter. Super friendly & knowledgeable staff (shout out to Colin, in particular), with great pricing throughout. Literally 1000s of comics & action figures. You can easily spend the better part of a day here rummaging through bins and finding long-lost or sought treasures & memories. *Bring hand-wipes/sanitizer if you decide to root thru the bins; but kudos on the post-pandemic clean-up, organization & displays here also.”
