Where to start , we’ll framing was done without sufficient nails, sometime places only had one toe nail and drywall was being installed the next day had to call him or else the walls would of been covered up and no one would know. Thad framed a wall in-between a ceiling joist and did not block the wall, when insisted it be blocked cause that’s how it should be done I was told the drywall would hold it together. Once drywall was installed I had to call him out on drywall building code cause there were places with 20-30 inch spacing between screws. Was charged 12000 dollars for 1400 sq ft of drywall to be installed, when asked about the quote because it said 3500 x3.50$, claimed the 3500 is just a number in his algorithm and couldn’t explain what it meant, the tapers wanted the walls primed and they would come back and do the touch ups, they were brought back 4 times and did maybe half the touch ups and I was told I would have to finish there work for them, i refused for the money I was being charged and Thad came and tried to repair the drywall and was like watching a child finger paint, in the end I had to hire another company to fix the work. Onto the tile shower, he used an acrylic base and once he was almost done I stood in the shower and it would creek and could hear the fibreglass base cracking, was told the plumber had installed with mortar as per the instructions called for, I brought home a scope camera and drilled a hole in the floor underneath to find out he was being dishonest and was installed with spray foam. They tried multiple times to correct it with more spray foam, and I called manufacture and they said warranty is void. The tile work was so horrendous with the lippage and mortar inconsistency so he had to repair half of a wall, I came home from work and tiles were able to pull off the wall , like 25% mortar contact, also destroyed the concrete board behind the tile and just tiled right back over it. Needless to say the whole shower had to be gutted, the new contractor had to reframe the walls cause they were not square, and self level the floor that was high in the Center by 3/8, and Thad had already charged me the “square the shower” and the plumber had corrected the floor. His plumber roughed in the shower and left a transfer valve for the shower loose and started leaking water one night around midnight into my basement luckily I caught it before it cause damage, claimed well that’s how it comes, but I know they should be removed to be soldered and if not the professional installing should of checked it. plumber also installed drains and never filled traps with water so my house smelt like sewage, when I filled the traps one was leaking, plumber never checked his work. Plumber also dented my dishwasher and claimed it was there, also installed the dishwasher crooked. Thad installed shelves not level and said well that’s the best we could do. Also installed a kitchen pantry not level, from floor to ceiling it’s out 3/8, and asked me if I checked if the shelves inside are level. Siliconed over silicone so peeled right off. Our kitchen island is so close the the other counter the fridge and stove are 28 inches apart , so you can’t even move if the fridge is open. After firing him he jacked the electrical bill up 3000 and the plumbing bill up 3000. When asked to provide a detailed quote in where the extra charges came from he couldn’t produce it. I spent 8 hours cleaning up after the tapers and his response was the painters usually do that, so if I wasn’t doing the painting I would be paying a painter to clean up someone else’s mess. In the end I lost thousands of dollars just to get him out of my life so I didn’t have to waste more time going to court. He told me 90 percent of people don’t see what you see, so I would assume he takes advantage of 90 percent of his customers.

Nice guys however they did a horrible job, I have had to replace the floor they did in my kitchen as all the tiles cracked and popped because the tiler did such a bad job. The potlights that were put in were put in the wrong location. Overpaid for the counter which wasn’t sealed properly so full of cracks. Cabinets have since all peeled and cracked, aren’t lined up properly and paint has come off so now have to replace those as well. Very disappointing.

The Reno Twins did a fantastic job on our kitchen and powder room renovation last fall. They worked hard to stay on schedule, were responsive to any concerns that we had, and we are still absolutely thrilled with the results. I recommend them very highly and hope to work with them again on some of the other projects still needing to be done on our home!

We had our Kitchen completely renovated, hardwood installed on the whole main floor & resurfaced the fireplace.
Jeremiah & Thaddeus were very knowledgeable and professional. They have a great sense of pride & good taste. They make sure you are happy with there work. The time frame of the job seemed very reasonable, no major delays. Jeremiah, Thaddeus & the crew were very polite and courteous. The suppliers that they use are very knowledgeable. They all worked together to help me choose colours & materials that flow together to create focal points. I'm not a designer by no means so this was exactly the help I needed.
I absolutely love the new renovations and would recommend them. I have a few more future Reno's that I will be contracting them to complete. Good Job Guys!

Jeremiah, Thad, and their team did a fantastic job on the full renovation of my master bathroom. It turned out just as I’d imagined. Jeremiah was very personable, patient, and provided a wealth of knowledge that definitely helped a lot in making my design and fixture choices. He was also very willing to work with me to get the project within my budget and we came in right on target. Would definitely use them again.

Overall I had a great experience and made the right decision choosing The Reno Twins. I had never done renovations before and it was hard finding a reputable company. Jeremiah, Thadd and his Team came recommended and they definitely lived up to the referral. Right from the start I felt comfortable when meeting Jeremiah, he explained everything in detail, very open to different ideas and suggestions and great at pulling the design together that you love. They are professional, answered all my questions without making me feel like I was bothering them, took care of my home, along with quality workmanship! The project was completed within my budget and timeline window. They transformed the entire first floor of my home along with the stairway going upstairs. My new kitchen, stone firewall and living area is stunning! We love our new space and are grateful the level of quality and expertise that this team brings.
I highly recommend The Reno Twins and I will be bringing them back next year for a smaller project. Thank you Jeremiah, Thadd and Team for an incredible job, we love our new space!

Choosing a contractor is a very difficult decision. TM3 was wholeheartedly the right choice for my extensive renovations.
Their proposal was very detailed, clear, leaving no room for misunderstandings. TM3 is professional, very reliable, well mannered, respectful, and very tidy.
TM3 embraced my 1930’s home, and gave it finishing touches to honour its heritage. Nothing was ever a problem for them, only a hurdle they chose to solve.
All projects have challenges and obstacles. TM3 handled each one with grace, and calmness. Instead of bringing me “bad news” (because in a 1930’s home you will always uncover bad news), they were intrigued to deliver me a creative solution (rather than a band aid).
I unequivocally recommend TM3 for any home renovation project, and am truly grateful to them for making my house a beautiful home.
Warmest Regards,
Jill
