This is a great store. The staff are very pleasant and the manager(Vito) is just excellent!! Place is clean and shelves are very well stocked. Highly recommend.

Prices are really high. Produce is poorly handeled bananas all big bruises over ripe ect.. Apples brown under skin(frost)? Almost out of date very little bread must keep the rest in back? Fresh seafood, store well stocked & good hours, checkout is quick even with only 1 or 2 available, not to busy. Don't recomend compliments products at all? other than that just prices are too high!

Flower Department Customer Service is Terrible!
Went there to buy flowers for a graduation ceremony. Roses were wilted, browning and looked awful. I asked if there were any fresh roses available and was told these are fresh and just have to pick out the brown ones. Seriously? So I pay full price and told to remove brown petals off the roses? Why should a customer do that?!!
Employees don't care about the service or the product they are selling. In fact, the manager (Tammy) was requested and she herself admitted she wouldn't buy these flowers either. Wait? What?! So you work here, tell me that the flowers are not worth buying yourself and you are telling me as a customer that these are fresh and just have to pull at the brown petals? Wow, what a concept! I should just pay full price for your dead looking flowers even if you say they are fresh but you wouldn't dare buy them yourself? To state: "I personally wouldn't buy Ecuadorian roses!" and "we're not a florist". We're a grocery store. So then the meat department isn't a Butcher store either, but you sell meat?! That makes lots of sense. So why are you in business again? Please kindly remind me, because last time I checked, it was a store that sold flowers!!

Most likely not!! "0" stars if I could leave but sadly, I can't.
I will buy flowers elsewhere! Stores where customer service is valued.

Really great! My husband loves their fresh sandwiches and I love their salads, so I stop whenever I pass a Sobeys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was at Sobeys on Sunday for Mother's Day to get some beef shanks to prepare a stew. I was happy to see that they were on sale. Unfortunately they were 2 days past the best before date.
When I showed it to an employee, the remaining expired trays were not removed promptly.
I am now wondering whether the meat i buy at Sobeys are worth the money spent or just a food poisoning event waiting to happen.
