Shoppers arrention! Bad toy quality, they display damaged items and don't tell customers who shop fast. The staff only be nice to her colour. Worst experience in a toy store.
I bought two Lego storage boxes and the yellow one is wide and big. So I didn’t notice the broken part at the corner. The package was already broken, but I didn’t expect the product to be damaged. According to the other review and their policy, the item needs to be in “saleable” condition. That means if I drove 20 minutes back to the store, they wouldn’t give me a refund or exchange. And from the experience earlier, I am certain that I won’t get a good and polite response.
We came here for the Lego event. The Disney 100 Castle is very cute. As a Disney fan, we appreciate this event. My son loves Lego and he wants to keep his castle. So I was thinking of asking if I can get one more home.
The cashier makes me feel she is racist! She gave a couple (same race as hers ofc) a bag and they were not making it in the store. They came into the store only like 3 minutes and then grabbed a bag and left. I’m sure the store video has the record. It happened right after 1 PM the event just started at the table.
She said it’s meant to have customers making in the store and the store owner wants it this way. (Maybe she is the owner? I don’t know.) Then I asked if it was only for kids. She hesitantly said yes, after I said usually this type of event is for every customer and they don’t mention it for kids ONLY. (Not to mention Lego is also for adults) She immediately felt shamed and loudly said “You can make it certainly!” in a sarcastic way. Do I want to be there and let her judge me while I’m making it? No. I will never visit Mastermind Toys again. Not even shop online. There are many places selling toys, I usually support at the store when visit. Maybe spending only $59 is not a big deal for the store. That’s why their staff had this attitude.
I’m ok if she told me they wanna save for the other kids since the event ends at 3 pm. But if she already giving away to others, why did she turn me down? I don’t usually bring up race issues; but in this case, it is a bad experience.
We went to ToysRUs for the Father’s Day event, we made them there. The staff were nice and friendly and didn’t mind adults having those bags. We also purchased two sets of Lego from them. I am saying the event is nice to bring customers to the store, and then support the stores. Otherwise, we can buy toys on Amazon, Walmart, ToysRUs…. All of them provide better customer service.

Very poor customer service. Tried to return a faulty product and they refused to give me a store credit as stated.

What a store ? I was trying to return a toy we didn't use or touch we just opened the box and found out the ball is very tiny.
She refused to return it. That's too weird I go buy every where and all stores are happy to make us satisfied. Any way I will never buy from them again

Been a customer for some time.Had to go to this store to buy a gift.First person I ran into was extremely helpful and guided me.I get my item, and take it to the counter and get in line.There was one person ahead of me.The cashier took care of that customer. Greeted them well, asked if they were a member or not etc (like they always do)I go in next. Cashier scans my item, asks if I want it wrapped, I make the payment and right after making payment, while I was walking towards the area where they wrap gifts, I realized the cashier didnt ask me for my email or phone, so I politely ask her about it thinking she forgot.(Note, this interaction is happening immediately after I made the payment), but, she got rude, tells me to walk away as she doesnt need to know I am a member.I was taken aback by her sudden change of attitude, then I ask again, "but you always ask if we are a member or not", she got further angry and tells me she is dealing with another customer and doesnt have time to answer me. (Which she was by then)But, the interesting part was that the customer she was handling corrected her and asked her to answer my valid question.......I didnt have time to stay around and argue with the cashier for her attitude, therefore left afer picking up my item I left with a bad experience.Although I had asked the question immediately after making my payment, there was one customer behind me and if she wanted me to wait, she simply could have said "I will be right with you, let me just take of the next customer" instead if being rude and I would have happily waited.Although I should note that all my past experiences at this store have been amazing but this one incident kept me stressed out the whole day as I felt targeted.

Always a good time wandering through the store. Lots of cool stuff. Nkt cheapest on price. They had the game my son wanted for his birthday. Friendly, helpful staff.

They didn't have what i was looking for (rubik's cube timer pad), but the staff were super helpful making sure they didn't have it, and even apologized afterwards!

The location and staff are all fine and I’ve never had an issue while shopping here. My issue comes from the Mastermind website disallowing any review I have written about a product. I had a product that broke easily and was not repairable. After verifying my email twice to write a review on the site, it still has not shown up. Why bother having an option for customers to write a review for products if you will not actually allow anything negative. This type of approach breeds a lack of trust in the type of feedback you actually place on your site.
