Went to the Bay today to purchase a new suitcase and found one I really loved at a decent price (that's why I've given a 2 star rating). I had a few questions about the item and couldn't find anyone in the department to help me. After going to the nearby shoe, ladies clothing, and jewelry departments, I was able to find someone who could assist me. All 4 sales people I spoke to really could not help me, but worse than that, I felt like none of them WANTED to help me. I was brushed off, redirected, and ignored, all before one lady decided she would help me. And even she tried to get me to buy the suitcase online AT HOME. It's like they didn't want me in the store shopping. The prices are high, even at the Bay Days event, but worse than that, the service was atrocious. My goodness, HBC... just give up already and fold.

Wow. I suppose it makes sense that the company is struggling financially. I went in to purchase a few items 45 mins before closing time, only to be followed around by a staff member encouraging me to make my purchases online. Well done. No wonder the Yorkdale location struggled to pay rent for close to a year a few years back! ?

This department store has gotta make some serious changes and step it up or it will be the next big brand gone outta business. The clothes and footwear department are a sad site of old out of style , basic, plain. The Reebok t-shirt on sale fr 49.98$ down to 45.50$ the Exact same one downstairs at national sports cost 24$. CRAZY prices for makeup and Alot of products very close to expiration date or mth or two away. This used to be a upscale, luxurious store. You walked in it smelt good inviting and nice displays that made you wanna shop. G

The parking is right infront of the doors which is a bonus, its relatively big, but the kids toy section is small.
Pet section aswell, Needs a new VM, to thoroughly organize and maintain the upstairs adequately for customers to walk through with strollers , wagons or even be wheel chair accessible.
Finding a sales associate here is NEARLY impossible. but once you find them they are happy to help you out and go on your marry way.
The clearance section downstairs can use some organizing and maintain the organization as everything is everywhere and makes you not even want to go and look around.

What happened to the wonderful Simpsons store. Since they were taken over by the US, the store is terrible. It is just getting worse. No service. Nothing nice to buy. Stuff on floors .
I rarely go there. They have ruined the Canadian heritage of a once great place to shop. Especially the downtown flag ship store. Very upsetting

Awesome clothing home decore and make up/apparel store. One stop shop for all styling need you may have. Great customer experience with wide variety and latest trends. Overall, one will enjoy visiting this huge store with range of items and options to choose from. Nicely priced too with trendy and new fashion styles in market these days that people can come and try and rejoice the feeling of getting upto the current looks that people look for it.

Dirty, as soon as you go into the store you smell mold. Men's washroom still has ashtrays. Overpriced and under staffed.

Bought a pair of Jeans online at the Bay market place in April. The pair was not the correct fit and the item didn't come with an invoice on delivery. The customer service hasn't give me a reason or proper response why I can't return the item or exchange it. I am disappointed. I keep emailing them and all i get is:
You have our promise that your return request will not be denied once the ability to return becomes available. Did the earth stop turning has Hudson bay stopped selling products that they cant return one item. All they need to do is provide me with the invoice and i can go to their store as they advertise for an exchange. What is happening. It not matter off $$ it's the principle. Four months and counting. I feel cheated, angry, frustrated.
