We bought two whole chickens yesterday cut into curry pieces. We paid approximately $17.5 and $16.5 respectively and they ranged between 4.0 to 4.4 lb. After coming back home, we cooked one of the chickens right out of the bag. After 10 mins there was more than half a litre of water that came out of the thawed chicken as it was getting warmed up. This never happened to us when we bought chicken from elsewhere. We started wondering if the store pre soaked the chicken in water and flash freezed it to increase the overall weight. Was super disappointed as it took almost 40 mins for the water to dry out. Very bad business ethics in the name of serving Halal meat!!! We wont be returning back to the store ever again and we will not be recommending it to anyone within our community.

Good place to buy halal meat and also have decent selection of spices and other ingredients. Wish they had beef with bone. Friendly people working there.

The best meat I found in Oshawa.
I'm from another city, but visit Oshawa and buy halal meats from time to time. Got beef, mature chicken, and chicken kabab. The spices in the chicken kabab felt very good according to my taste. Beef tip: knowing your cut and choosing from them will give you peace of mind.
The staff are very friendly, calm, and cooperative. I'll definitely go there again.
