Owner is a thief. I had to go back because my total didn't add up for 2 mobsters and a Pepsi. The receipt for 10.14 that I didn't get until I went back the third time.I went back letting him know he overcharged me giving him the benefit of the doubt so he gives me .50 cents and this cash receipt. Then I realize when I get home it still didn't add up, when I looked down I realized it was cash and didn't add up.I went back a third time and had to ask him for this debit receipt reprint where he got angry with me and kicked me out for asking for my change.I've bought so much stuff here and won't get to know how much he has stolen :'(!!!!

So i go to this store a lot theres a lady who works there that is very nice but the man is a bit rude. Me and my friends go there almost daily and we buy stuff but when i went in one time my card got declined and i didnt know so i left and he came outside and took it back which is reasonable because thats what anyone would do. I came back earlier that day again and me and my friends got kicked out for taking to long ( 3 minutes ) picking out what we want. We came back the next day and we found out that we were banned for "going there daily and apparently not buying anything" when every single time we go exept that one day that my card declined we pay.

I recently moved to the area from quite far and live about two streets down from this variety store. Due to my work hours, I’m not able to get to the grocery store often, however, the prices at this store are so affordable that I have made it my new breakfast essentials spot. I often walk in the evening to grab some candy or snacks, and I’ll grab eggs, coffee, cream, and butter here too. It really helps and both owners are incredibly personal and kind. Bonus- I’m a huge plant person and so are the owners of this store! Many very healthy, unique tropicals. I’ve bought a few plants from here now and they’re growing so large and healthy- also very very fairly priced!I’m so thankful for this variety store in my community.

Love this store, we just moved to the area so it’s my closest convenience shop. Bought plants and they took time to wrap them up to protect them from the cold before I left. This will be a regular spot for me now for sure ?

Really good array of plants, some even a bit more exotic than i had expected. Good selection of drinks, food, plant pots... it's all pretty good stuff. Best part, the owners are quite friendly.

Unfortunately, a lovely monstera purchased here was infested with thrips and mealy bugs. Very sad, it was a gift and now may infest my whole house on top of costing me more money to treat. Be cautious buying plants here

I have been coming to this store, forever. Over 40 years anyway. Back when it was called the Lucky Dollar. I feel like it has stayed within the family. Always did have more selection than most. Probably don't seem quite as happy to see you, but then they have been at it forever.

This is the best store in Oshawa. By far the best plant selection I've ever seen. Great variety of snacks too! But those plants. Gorgeous. The owners are very friendly and know their stuff. Always an exciting visit.
