Love build a bear but the staff at this location is dissapointng not helpful or cheerful ruined the entire experience for the birthday boy , i knw other locations where the person making the bear asks the child to rub the heart , make a wish etc over here nothing .

The workers were very helpful with the process (probably because they have to help). The bears or animals are not too pricey however once you start putting clothes and accessories on them it adds up quite quickly.

I have it a 2 star wanted to get a birthday bear for my child to surprise her they said she had to be present for it to get it for the age she is turning but i didn’t want her to know about it not sure if it’s right or not love the store but the policy I don’t agree

Brought my Daughter here for her first Birthday! No one else in the store witch was nice. Staff was so friendly and kind! Wonderful experience.

I took both my kids to Build a Bear at this location to get the 'sound' button added to their pokemon plushies. My older one got the sound added to his pokemon character but they told us they could not add for my younger one's character. It was not available for God knows what reason! He was so disappointed he came back home crying all the way.

We started going here for the birthday special: build a bear, pay your age. Our younglings & grandparents enjoy the 30 minute activity. I suggest Cinnabon afterwards.

It was a nice experience for my daughter's birthday. My only compliant and disappointment is that there is no point on their online club. Which I am part of but who wants a discount on their plain birthday bear, which is cheap anyways, when you have sooo many interesting options.You don't even get a discount, unless you are purchaing that plain boring birthday teddy bear.

I knew about build-a-bear but had never gone as a kid. Stopped in at the Oshawa Center location while in the area with my partner. The staff were very helpful and on-board with helping us out. A special thank you to Peggy for helping us through each step!

[LGBTQ+ Friendly!]Staff was fantastic in helping me get my plushy friend, naming it, and stuffing it, even letting me add extra stuffing to make him super snuggly! Will absolutely be back again for more furry friends

Sunday April 3/22. The young man working the stuffing machine, Mitchell, was amazing. He made the whole experience for my son. He was incredibly friendly and made age appropriate small talk with my child about his choices of bears (Sonic, birthday bear and Evee).
