I have shared my feedback with the store team and took the time to call the store immediately following our awesome visit and tried and obtain the email address for the district manager. The store manager (Melanie) provided Anthony's email but I have not received a reply to my email to him. I called the Oshawa location yesterday to speak with Melanie so I could be sure I had the correct email address AND to let her know I did share my feedback-as I honour my word, but a young lady (sadly) grilled me on the phone...insisted I leave a message when I said it was nothing urgent. She asked me what it was regarding...not sure what her insistence was about but she was rude. Not typical of my experience.
Alas, I don't have the time to try and reach back out to Anthony nor corporate nor will I try and call to speak with Melanie again but I do believe it's important for the team to get recognized for their exceptional service so this is what I shared in my email:
Good morning Anthony,
My name is "Zee" and my son is Gabriel. We have had the pleasure of meeting the team at Oshawa Centre for a while now but-specifically, we went on May 14th as my son had received the 60% coupon and we had planned to stock up-and we did! ?. Prior to that-though, I visited your store to scope it out-the day before, as my time is limited due to my work schedule and I needed to ensure that-when I brought my son in on the 14th-that there would be items he would be interested in. I met Mckie and Matt that day and they were both so kind.
Gabriel and I came in on May 14th and-to my surprise-Mckie remembered me. Melanie and Mckie assisted Gabriel and I with all we needed in terms of sizes, inventory (Melanie pulling a t-shirt I needed off of a mannequin for me as it was the only one left). We spent quite a bit of time there-as just when we thought we were done, my son spotted the beautiful pink Messe pieces that were in store so Mckie assisted him with selecting and trying on a couple of pieces. Mckie also helped me out with some sneakers. He is kind, attentive, genuine and just so easy to be around. Melanie-I later came to learn that she is the manager. What I appreciate is that she was tending to me and others in the same manner alongside her team. I have been to other locations where it is very different-it is the Manager vs the staff mentality and practice, very few stores showcase an equal relationship but Melanie does so and her and Mckie took great care of us.
From previous visits to that visit-and I have had to make a few visits following that day (to exchange for size etc), the customer service has been consistent. From Matt on the phone, Xvier (on the phone) Davina in person (twice), Michelle (who also helped at cash on May 14th), and I am sure there are others who I cannot name but I have appreciated their smiles when I walk in, it's been a great experience and I have been meaning to reach out to you-In fact, I called the store the day after the big stock up shopping spree, to obtain your email address and the system was down, days later, I know that Matt (I think) tried to leave it for me on a vm and then I finally obtained it the other day when I saw Melanie.
I believe people take more time to complain than to send a note of gratitude for great service. I worked retail a lifetime ago. My son works with the public (at a swim school)...I would hope that people would take the time to share positive feedback of my son and for others as I know it can be very challenging.
We look forward to continuing to shop at this location. Markville was our former location and we have a couple of staff members who were also very kind to us there. I have since learned they will not be there for much longer which is a shame. I return to locations because of the staff. Likewise, i will NOT return to a location because of the staff experience.

No service, staff too busy cleaning up for the day. Walked in for a pair of shoes and walked out empty handed, as no one even reached out to me.

Warning never order anything from Adidas online. You will be charged on your credit card even if they cannot fill the order and you will have to wait for credit back on your card once they clear it .

I specifically drove into town to return an online order. When I got here I was informed that the American stores will accept returns but in Canada their online sales are not linked to their stores so I would have to return the item by mail. The staff was very helpful and printed me a label but the overall experience was very frustrating.

No customer service at all, was in the store for 20 min and had to go to front desk to ask for assistance. Both managers lacked customer service skills. Refused to honour online discounts. No pricing on stock or proper labeling on merchandise.
