“Plenty of parking. No scooters available for disabled... they never have enough! Asked help from one employee who wasn't very friendly. Couldn't find employees walking the floor. Used self checkout.”

Shopping Centers And Malls
“Very convenient, there is a Desjardins bank, a nail salon, a bubble tea shop... Or you can shop around the plaza, Metro, Home Depot, JYSK, Party City, Staple, Sleep Country, etc, then enjoy fast food at Tim Horton's, Subway restaurant, or a proper meal at Mandarin restaurant, the best buffet restaurant in Ottawa”
“Decent mall. Lots of great stores. My only real gripe is the entrance from Innes rd at Wild Wing. I don't feel great crossing there with my young children. I don't really have a great cheap solution, Perhaps a convex mirror.”
“I have not been in every business, but I like the Metro, La Belle Poutine for a hot dog on a toasted bun, with coleslaw on top.
Shoppers Drugs, and Wellwise next door, are a great addition.
Lucky House is our favorite Chinese restaurant. Eggspress serves great breakfast items, and then turns into Parea Authentic Greek Food around 4 p.m. So good!
Mary Brown Chicken serves good size pieces and the Big Mary Chicken Sandwich is larger than I can handle. Chicken at its best.
The Book Market is stocked full of slightly used books.
The staff at the Roger's Store have always been very helpful.
I look forward to The Farmers Market later this month. Worth a visit every Thursday until the late fall.
The only other business I have visited is the Dairy Queen. What can I say about ice cream? Get some. I have not had a burger there for a few years, but no complaints!
We are lucky to have so many open air mini malls along the 10th Line, with a nice variety of stores and restaurants.
All have lots of parking.”
“Place d'Orléans is still a nice friendly shopping experience. Although so much has vanished over the years. I always thought the architecture was quite unique. It's smaller today in size. I remember it well as a former resident of Convent Glen. Eaton's and Hudson's Bay are gone. I buy mostly online these days. Covid-19 really changed the game. I'm afraid the glorious days of shopping centres are forever finished.”
