I knew that I found someone I could trust when they saved me hundreds of dollars! Years ago, I had a broken leaf in my leaf spring on one side of my pickup truck. After the dealership told me I would need to replace both leaf springs at $1000 per side, I asked Maxwell's for a quote. They suggested a shop that specializes in this sort of work. That shop replaced the broken leaf for less that $200!
Maxwell's could have taken the job and outsourced it, pocketing a tidy markup, but they didn't. Ever since then, there have been many times when they have saved me more by *not* doing work that I thought my cars needed.
You can trust Maxwell's.

I have only been there twice but the staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. I will be ordering new tires in the spring from them.

I am profoundly disappointed with Maxwells. Knowing that the new safety inspection process was to be put in place for Ontario, I booked a month in advance, confirming that they could do the work and were ready.
A day before my appointment, I was called and told that the appointment was cancelled.
In fact, Maxwells had misled me and not done their job and prepared for the new regulation and so did not have the tablet needed to do the work. They had no idea when they might become compliant.
This reflects a lack of proper planning and foresight on their part. A huge disappointment and headache for the customer - completely avoidable.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Maxwell's for many years. Not once have i been disappointed with the work or service. Top notch. I will continue to use Maxwell's for years to come as my mechanic of choice when the 2 mechanics in my family don't have time to perform the work. ;).

Highly recommended! They were able to rectofy my exhaust noise without changing the whole midpipe and manifold as the dealership wanted to do! Dealership cost over $3500, real solution exhaust gasket and springs for $378! Super happy that I no longer wake up the neighbourhood with my car! Thank you!
