I am really disappointed about my recent visit to Fabricland, Orleans location. Normally I find the staff quiet helpful and nice until i was served by staff member named Joanne. She made several mistakes on my order. She cut the fabric wrong (i asked 5 meter and she she gave me 4 ( that i only realized after coming back home)and she put the price for 5 meters on my bill and then she put the amount double than what it says on the fabric. At the cash, we went back to check the price and cashier corrected the price.( but still i got 4 meters and paid for 5 meters.
I am regular customer and this experience left really bad taste.
I think she has her own preferences when it comes the serving customers and definitely needs more training.

There"re two Fabricland stores in Ottawa area. One is in Ottawa, and the other one in Orleans.I visited both, and what a difference! Like two different planents they are!The one in Orleans is so clean, well organized; their staff is very friendly, helpful, and they all look happy. The place has wonderful energy!Frankly, I didn't find ANY of the above in the Ottawa store; in fact, I left there quite unhappy promising myself to shop somewhere else next time. So, if you need to shop at Fabricland I suggest the Orleans' one. They also have a better choice of fabrics and accessories, and it's easier to find what you are looking for.

My Wife Tanya called me while I was out to go to this Store and texted me a list. I need to thank the staff guiding me with no hesitation, a BIG thank you to Eva for her patience with a man (me) trying to describe what was needed with her wondering what I was talking about. I finally called my Wife and I became the translator that would not of worked without Eva and a couple good laughs along the way! Evaline another staffer also helped decipher some of what I was asking for....Great Staff. All I can say now is Thank You my wife is happy so as the saying goes....Happy wife Happy Customers

Our first visit to Fabricland and we were so thankful for Lynn. She was so helpful showing my child different fabrics to make their first anime outfit. Very patient and knowledgeable. Thank you Lynn!!! We will be back with pictures!
