Every time I'm in the store I have the impression of being unwelcome. This is usually confirmed when I attempt to ask a simple question about a product. I just asked if they had Sun valley parkas on clearance. The woman working there said no. I walked over to the clearance section and there were a ton of them on clearance. When I asked her about this she said she had ear infections and so she can't hear properly. Okay well then say pardon me sir can you repeat that? Yet she can hear me fine during all this conversation. The only time she couldn't hear me was when it was to do her job to answer a question. I'm a fan of Eddie Bauer clothing, but why would I go to a store where I met with attitude and downright disrespect for simply being present and shopping?. I'm over it. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Was going to buy a winter coat. Was welcomed by Matty. He gave me so much help and was so nice. When I go back I want matty to be there! Bought my coat and love it so far.

I'm an old customer of this brand and bought a lot of products from them previously. I've always seen their employees to be very professional and efficient. But today the girl attended us in the Orleans branch was surprisingly very rude (well, that's the rudest behavior I've experienced ever by any sales associate in any brand in Canada). She wasn't just arrogant with us, but also with other customers. She responded very rudely to another nice lady who was just asking for the store opening time. The lady left the store after how she responded and so did we. Such unprofessional behavior is not expected at all from a brand like Eddie Bauer.

Went in with one of their first ascent items that was defective, with a broken pocket (seam completely unsealed, and was starting to destroy the rest of the jacket). Was immediately berated and dismissed by the employee who was assisting me. She made no effort to help me at all, and immediately assumed I was lying about my return (she thought it was from 2018, when I had receipt proof it was purchased after 2021). This included immediately telling me "there's nothing they could do", without actually talking to me at all, and determining any facts about the case.Asked to speak to a manager... And she backed up the employee, providing no assistance. They couldn't even be bothered to TRY and look up my item. Absolutely abysmal sale practices.Don't buy their first ascent gear - Eddie Bauer is no longer prepared to support their supposedly highest quality line, and are willing to let items that were defective on purchase remain unsupported.

My favourite shop in town. I like their designs, product quality for men's garments. Sales assistants are always helping during your shopping. Prices are in medium range.

I had an issue with the receipt that was incorrect after the item was returned. The employees were not helpful and called the manager who dismissed the error and said to call headoffice. Why should a customer call head office for an error that was created by staff? The manager was very cold and didn't even take the time to explain the issue but kept repeating to call head office. I have been to many Eddie Bauer stores but the one in Orleans is just terrible. To treat customers this way is completely unacceptable. The manager (Cheneko) just didn't care about helping a customer understand or at least try to correct the issue because it was easier to get rid of the customer. Unbelievable!! and terrible customer service. I will never be returning to that store again.
