Morgan.B back in the contracting area was absolutely AMAZING to deal with today while trying to pick out a bathroom vanity. I was just in your orillia store to buy a bathroom vanity. My husband and I walked around the area, no interaction from any employee. Then we stood for a few more minutes at the actual vanities again no interactions. My husband then walked up to desk that had 3 employees standing there, looked right at him ( with somewhat of a dirty face) and no Hi or nod of head, nothing. A 4th employee walked up and started complaining about a cashier doing something she shouldn't have. 4 of them stood there talking amongst each other and still no acknowledgement. We walked out.
I then called asking for an email and went from some employee to customer service line. I eventually got the email (which was wrong) with no 'can I help you with anything else' just a hang up after I said thank you. Guess he was done with me. I was willing to pay more at your store then go to Home depot but home depot was amazing and got my money.

Thrown out of Orillia Home Hardware for not looking right?!?!
I was turned away at 2:00 pm August 20, 2024 by a lady at the front door who refused my entry because I would not give up my fanny pack which was strung over my shoulder. I notified the lady that it contained my ID, bank & debit cards, cash, glasses, and my home and car keys. This is a first and seeing as I have never been refused entry in my life from a retail establishment I can only assume 3 things. One....Why was I turned away when other people entered with no question. Was I the wrong color? Two.... She denied entry to a senior citizen and managed to treat that customer so bad that she moved to the number one spot in Ontario for worst retail worker! Three......the management at this Home Hardware has to take FULL responsibility for her poor training and poor posting! They are the ones who placed her at the front door and instructed her poorly.

Don will take good care of you. Couldn't explain what I needed and he helped me figure it out immediately. Was in and out in 5mins. Gave me a great deal too. I will definitely be back.

I find customer service is terrible in this store. Especially the pro deck. I asked a gentle man for assistance and he could not be bothered to help me at all. I went back to the pro desk to ask someone else as I could not find the item. I left and went to home depot. I guess getting up off a stool to help a customer is not their job.

Amazing customer service. An online order got dropped somehow by HH website, but this store was amazing and made it work out just fine for a couple of large items on sale.
