I was harassed by a male customer for wearing a mask. I reported the incident to a male staff and it was evident by his tone and body language he didnt want to do anything. He hesitated but finally approached the man and asked, from a distance, if he said something to someone about a mask. The male customer shook his head and said no. The associate just walked away. When I asked him he said the man told him he didnt say anything and he couldnt argue with him. I reported it to an assistant manager and when I pointed out her staff that chose to let the incident go, she replied it was her baby brother. This assistant manager said that if the male customer said that he didnt do or say anything, and there was no witness they had to take his word for it. I told her this was unacceptable, allowing this abuse. WHAT ABOUT MY WORD????? THIS STORE HAS LOST OUR BUSINESS. I have to say there was a sales associate who heard me telling my husband about the incident and he was great. He agreed the man should have been told to leave the store. They have cameras, I said where I was and when it happened, could they not look???? The piece of garbage would not have said anything to a man or if my husband had of been standing with me.

We were just at the Orillia Home Depot store and were assisted by a gentleman named Ken in the plumbing department. He was so helpful and friendly that my husband and I felt the need to comment. Bravo Ken...you do a terrific job!

Buyer Beware...........Home Depot does not honour online orders. They do not reserve the items you have paid for for you!!!!!!! I ordered a product which had plenty of stock on line. The amount was charged to my credit card. Home Depot advised me that they only process the order on the same day as the pickup date. So if on that pickup date they don’t have stock you are SOL! This happened to me in the Peterborough store and I was advised that the Home Depot Orillia follows the same process. Way to put the customer first Home Depot!!!!!!!!!

Today April 4 2019 I went to the Orillia Home Depot to get replacement tiles for flooring I purchased approximately 4-5 years ago to find out that the Allure brand was not available in store or on the Internet. I was sent to the flooring department and sat down with Lawrence a part-time employee who went above and beyond to help me. After over an hour of him searching and making phones calls he did it. His patience and professionalism went above and beyond. Thank you Lawrence

I'll make this as short as possible. I had prior issues with the home depot in midland, so when my boyfriend wanted to drop into the one in orillia I was hesitant, but also interested to see the difference of service. IT'S SO MUCH BETTER! both myself & my boyfriend said that we liked this location much more. we were asked if we needed help many times, by many people. also everyone was incredibly nice.

My husband and I where doing a complete kitchen re-model. We went to the department and sat down with a gentleman to review what we where looking for. I myself thought we where more than prepared I had the kitchen layout and full dimensions needed to acommodate the space. The associate quickly glanced at my drawing and than handed me a piece of graph paper. He than dismissed us and said I would have to come back when I had it filled out. He did not want to take the time to discuss anything. Are you kidding me ! Absolutely ridiculous !! Needless to say we did not return.

Best and most informative customer service I have ever had. All of the staff smile, offer help and answer questions. I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and everyone went above and beyond. They really helped me with my latest renovation!

Service at this location is atrocious!! We asked at the service counter 3 times for assistance in the hardware aisle as we needed some chain cut. Nobody came!! We literally grabbed a guy from the garden centre who knew nothing about the products we needed but he still did his best to help assist. Props to him Customer service was terrible, except for the Garden Centre guy, despite the fact he wasn't much help. Not his fault.

OK prices, very disappointing customer service, decent products for the most part. I've gone numerous times to this location, and each time I ask for assistance in finding a product, the sales associate is unsure of whether they carry it or what would work best based on what I need. For eg, I was looking for Septi-Tabs, and I went to numerous departments of the store, being told they didn't have them. I went on their website, and used their "pick-up in store" feature. Several hours later, I got an e-mail saying it was ready for pick-up at the front desk, at the same store. When I went there, the person at the front desk had trouble's finding it (and this has happened to me more than once when I've used this feature on their website). So all-in-all, I'd only go back to this location if there's something that I can't get anywhere else.
