After driving to North Bay Sunday and waiting in line for 3 hours just to be told they don't know how to return a phone I drove 2 hours to this location a week later. Waited in line for over an hour just to be told they also don't know how to do a phone return. How can you sell phones but when it comes to needing to return a phone within a certain it's not something they are able to do? $250 in gas later and time wasted I am still trying to return this device. Pretty disappointed and starting to feel like they are doing this on purpose.

Sat here for over 2 hours in the smart phone department just trying to get 1 phone set up, and the funniest part is i didn’t even get the phone because of there employee error on which phone they had in stock. Save your time and go straight to the carrier. nothing but wasted time and disappointment

A decent sized electronics store for the area. Lots of staff that are helpful. If you're in need for something, not a bad option.
Some sales that can be enticing.
Lots of parking.

I went to this Best Buy on Monarch Drive in Orillia and experienced superb assistance from Melanie who was fabulous. She went out of her way to be helpful and to find what I needed. She has a lovely way with customers. I then met Danielle, supervisor, who was also amazing and helped with another matter. She also is awesome.
Great store, Great staff. Too bad that Best Buy does not allow us to contact a particular store by telephone and we can only contact the call center. I do consider that a serious flaw.
BUT this is a terrific store with great staff. Daniel was also fin and good.

The only thing I would say is the website needs to be updated...other then that my most recent experience there was very pleasant, was on the hunt for a new TV and they had what I needed, didn't know bc the website was definitely not up to par, but took the chance and as soon as I walked in the door Liam if I'm correct helped me with exactly what I needed, in and out of the store in 5 min.

Best buy sells cr*p that is not of good qualitybut charge the big bucks and their return policy sucks.

After a bunch of confusion and realizing that something was promised that shouldn't have been, the employees worked to figure out a solution so that I did not feel ripped off. I am very grateful for the mobile team and the help they gave me, despite it being a past employee who made the promise.

Leanne really needs to be able to put her password into the pos to verify a return if she is literally the only one up at the front scrambling with three people in line all wanting returns… she had a FANTASTIC attitude and showed awesome customer service :)

Went to buy an air conditioner unit, told it would not work with the windows in our home, but sales person recommended a dehumidifier as that would help cool the room, SO NOT THE CASE, the compressor in the dehumidifier pumps out hot air, the room was 10° hotter!!
$225 not well spent

Dropped laptop off at Geek Squad at this location because of issues with audio/visual. Spent considerable time with rep. showing what was happening, the error messages, etc. They kept the laptop for a couple of days then called and said it was fixed. Went to pick up and waited more than an hour in a line up of 7 people for the ONE geek squad employee on duty (on a Saturday) to finish setting up several cell phones for another customer. Got the laptop home, powered up, exact same issues -- by the looks of things, all they did was back up the data and made no attempt to fix the actual issue. Called head office, and now I have to ship the laptop off to them for assessment and hopefully repair. I pay $40 a month to Best Buy for this. Also -- if you read the "owner response" to all the poor reviews on here, it is a cut and paste of a trite "we'll try and do better" response - as if that is going to help anything. Seriously, just drive to Barrie.

The staff at this location are very friendly and always available and eager to help.
Specifically, I must say that Jason (Team Lead) and Ryan have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable with kitchen Appliances that we have bought on 2 recent occasions. Jason offered us the best prices on the appliances and thereby ensured that we would not need to go anywhere else.
Jason and Ryan made our Appliance purchases so smooth and stress-free. Their best pricing enabled us to purchase confidently (and we knew that we would not get better pricing anywhere else).
Best Buy’s No-Lemon Policy with their Extended Warranty is also the best in the industry. (I’ve compared with other retailers’ policies.) It gives us peace of mind knowing that Best Buy will never give us a hard time with any unexpected appliance issues.
We have been Repeat Customers of Best Buy for many years, and will continue to be.
