“I needed the bathroom. It was open for public use, which is rare these days. It looked like it was cleaned regularly, but minimally. The walls looked unclean and the floor didn't look great but wasn't muddy and had no puddles around it. The toilet and sink were clean. The store itself looked great. Very clean store. Thank you for having a decent enough bathroom open for use! You have no idea how much I appreciate it.”

“My car broke down in this area and I was able to get to this station. It is conveniently located near a freeway exit. The gentlemen in the convenience store were very nice when I told them I was waiting for a tow truck. They even let me use the bathroom.The food pricing was good, too (I bought a couple of Rx Bars).I'll remember this place when I'm passing through and need gas or food.”

“Great customer service at this location and the one on Wyandotte and lauzon. Almost every time I have gotten a fountain drink, it seems that there is not enough syrup in the machine. The past 2 orange fantas I have attempted to get with my friends have not had any orange syrup. My coke was also very light in colour. That’s my only complaint, the staff are always friendly!”
“I was able to fill up my gas tank. All I had to pay $20 because their prices was very cheap. I was on a half a tank and it put me on a full tank just for $20. I always go to Marathon gas stations all the time good service as well”

“Got a flat coming off the Ambassador Bridge this morning at 4 a.m. Limped into this gas station. The fellow on duty doing the night shift could not have been more helpful. My wife and I are both sorry we didn't get his name. Even when cell service was intermittent he let me use his store phone. One of the local customers (I think his name is Dan) helped us change the tire and get on our way. I haven't stopped at Marathon much but I will now and I will go out of my way to buy gas from this location next time I am in Detroit. Here's a picture of the bolt we picked up coming off the Ambassador Bridge. Wish they would clean the deck better. Had to buy a new tire.”

“You remember the disaster that happened on the Gulf Coast, correct? I can't remember the year it happened, but the one thing I've taken from that incident is that British Petroleum (BP) uses American oil. Amoco was the former name and entity, bought over by BP. I go to these locations to purchase American gas instead of gas derived from petroleum from foreign countries. I don't even want gas from Canada! And Citgo uses gas from Venezuela (or so I've heard---correct me if I'm wrong). If there are any other petroleum companies using American gas, then I'd like to know. Otherwise, BP is my favorite---for buying American!”

“Lots of gas bays. Not usually busy the times I've been there so no waiting for a pump.I get my diesel here as I find Esso diesel gives me good mileage, sometimes better than diesel from other gas stations.I find the diesel prices here pretty good.”
