I purchased 3 sets of custom made blinds and drapes from Shades of Home. I am very pleased with all of them. Marie gave me lots of help about style and fabric choices. Her installer Raj was very professional and prompt and removed all the old blinds and and hardware. I highly recommend Shades of Home.

We just had window treatments installed in our front living room window. The service we received from the Shades of Home team was excellent. First, they sent a designer to our house with samples to explore our options. Marie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was so convenient to have this service at home and to see the fabric options in the space. Second, the order and installation was seamless. Everything was perfectly measured and installed. Our custom roller shade and curtains are just perfect. Highly recommend.

Jasmina was exceptional with her service. She came by our home, took measurements and explained everything to us thoroughly. Installers were great as well, very clean and fast install.

Shades of Home is the only place I go for custom curtains and bed covers. I also choose fabric from there for reupholstering chairs etc. This is the third time Shades of Home has helped me decorate my home. Marie has a great eye for colour and she’s a talented designer. I’m very happy with everything .. as I knew from past experience that I would be!!!

We couldn't be happier with our new livingroom and bedroom drapes. Marie was amazing and easy to work with as her attention to details to suggest appropriate colours, fabric texture and matching hardware was outstanding. The new drapery has completely changed the look of our rooms and we love how updated rooms! I would highly recommend Marie and her installers Raj if you are in need of new drapes for your home. This is our second time using Shades of Home for our window treatments. From start to finish our experience was completely positive and professional. We are extremely happy with our drapes and roman shades. Excellent quality! Our consultant was very knowledgeable and provided us with an in-home visit and came prepared with fabric samples and listened to our needs, we appreciated her suggestions and honesty when it came to selecting the right cordless roman shade. We never felt rushed to make a decision. The installers are very professional and take great pride in their work. They took the time to show us how to properly utilize these new cordless roman shades. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend their services to our friends and family.

We have worked with Shades of Home twice, most recently to outfit our home with drapes and roller blinds throughout. Marie was incredible to work with, offering thoughtful design suggestions we might not have considered ourselves and always sending prompt responses and updates. This is the second time we used Shades of Home, in our house in Toronto and now for our condo! We are extremely happy with their services and love our blinds and drapes. The quality is excellent. They helped with selection and gave their opinions with options. The installers are so professional and take pride in their work. They were very careful and made sure everything was functioning and installed correctly. In addition , we recommended them to our friends who in turn we’re very happy! You get what you pay for! We definitely will use them in the future.

We have 16 floor to ceiling windows and ordered the Elite motorized blinds. Delivery and installation went well and on time. Unfortunately when we inspected them the edges of the fabric were frayed. We called Steve and he spoke to the manufacturer who approved the replacement of all the fabric. Steve arranged to have the blinds picked up the day before we went on holidays and installed them once we got back. Motorized blinds are a big investment and it scared us when we saw this problem. Fortunately Shades of Home is one of those companies that ensures the customer is happy and gets the product and service we expect. Also a special thanks to Raj the installer, he is a perfectionist and doesn’t leave until everything is aligned and works perfectly.

Previous to ordering shutters and shades from Shades of Home, I dealt with another company. The service was so bad that I ended up asking for my money back. What a difference Shades of Home made! My daughter used Shades of Home in the past and was also very pleased with them.Marie, the designer, who came to our home, knew exactly what we needed.The installers were also very knowledgeable and reliable. We received a phone call a week in advance telling us when they would be coming, an email reminder, and a phone call on the day of the installation confirming the time of their arrival.I will not hesitate to use Shades of Home in the future.

I am very disappointed with their after-sale service!!After we got few blinds, one of them got stuck, did not open or close!! so the sun did not come in in that room for some time!!I kept texting the guy who installed them and I contacted the store too. Then I called an excellent handyman who got it fixed in twenty minutes.....A piece of advice, make sure that the place offers a good after-sale service- a place that you can COUNT on before buying things that should last for a long time......

Really wish I had the great experience many seem to have. I was recommended by a friend who had a good experience but the consultant that I was assigned to was less than adequate. I wanted a in home consultation, that is how you move the process along but I got a quote on items and fabric that I never saw. I even asked for pictures to clarify what the details were about (in the quote) and I was told that they didn't have pictures? I mean there is Pinterest. It was sloppy, lazy work. I expected much much better. Wasted a lot of my time.

The 'designer' chose not to help us. We had an appointment booked, for which we measured our own windows and spend over an hour in the 'showroom' trying to explain to her what we needed. After taking a week to get a quote, she ignored follow up questions and emails, never got back. She was not interested in helping us or having us as clients. Shame on you, we had high hopes and were looking for window solutions for an entire house.

Working with Jasmina was great, she was friendly, and very knowledgeable on styles and pricing. I appreciated that she was able to work within our budget to find the perfect shades for our home and I absolutely love the finished product!
