I'm from Niagara Falls, and staying in Okaville , I've been to Longos 4 times this week for groceries. I have to say, this is the best grocery store I've ever been to. The employees are so kind and helpful and seem like they are genuinely happy. I can only assume this employer and management must treat their employees well here. So that makes me happy to give my business here.
And a special thanks to Paul in produce for helping me find what I was looking for and just being a kind soul!

Very disappointed in this Longo’s!! I’m a regular customer there & yesterday I purchased a tub of Longo’s Greek pasta feta salad & went over to the salad bar to add a scoop of feta to my purchase. Seeing as it was a Longo’s product I didn’t see the harm in adding a scoop of feta and I wasn’t being sneaky about it and when the salad bar attendant saw me doing this she yelled at me “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”. She then proceeded to charge from behind the counter at me and started scolding me again yelling “WHAT AREYOU DOING?” , “YOU CANT DO THAT!!!” They don’t sell Greek pasta salad at the salad bar so I didn’t think it was a problem but I apologized again and said I didn’t know. She then said to me “DON’T YOU HAVE ANY COMMON SENCE!!?”. I then apologized once more and said it won’t happen again and said “my mistake” I was absolutely mortified as there were other customers around watching her scold me like I was a 10 year old. She then told me I needed to stay here while she went and got her manager. I wasn’t able to stick around as I was on a 15 minute break getting my lunch as I often do but had to get back to work. She then proceeded to follow me out of the store like I was some kind of criminal. Not only did this employee embarrass me, insult me, and offend me but pissed me off because this was all over 2 scoops of feta cheese that went into another Longo’s product. Funny thing is, if they did sell Greek pasta salad at the salad bar I could put all the feta on I wanted. All she had to do was say, ”sir…you’re not allowed to do that” and it would’ve ended there, but she felt the need to escalate the situation to level that was totally unprofessional, disproportionate, and completely inappropriate!!
Long story short…don’t expect any kindness from the salad bar lady!!! She needs customer service training!!!

Don't buy bouquets or other cut flowers from their floral section. They only sell them when they know the flowers are about to die. Made the mistake of buying bouquets as gifts, and they were all dead after a day. They should be ashamed to charge $50 for something that's falling apart.

The store itself is 4 stars - I like it. A lot.
But...
I bought the chicken wing special this weekend.
The Buffalo were disgusting
and tasted terrible. So much so that I have NO desire to try the sweet and spicy that were part of the flyer special.

Clean, and well managed.
Had a great experience at the bakery department.
Shout out to Michael.
This young man saw me waiting in line as the shopper ahead of me was getting served.
Michael came around and served me at the same time; I worked for a grocer throughout school , and its employees like this that take care of your business.

I appreciate a superior customer service experience and Julianna is wonderful! Competence, and engaging, Longos has selected the correct person for this role. It is this type of engagement that equals customer retention.

Zero stars for deli counter customer service experience yesterday! Unless you like waiting when no one else is there & then she gives atitude when she actually has to serve you! Do better Longo’s Burloak!!!
