High quality apparel, but costly. Tidy and clean interior and exterior. Excellent customer service without pushing customers for choices. If you are bored, go window shopping here.

Great service at this location! I went in to exchange a couple things I bought online. Helped me find new sizes to try, and offered other colour options for items not in stock in-store. No judgement when I opted to return a sweater rather than exchange it for the more expensive colour they had available in store. Very friendly and pleasant experience.Clothing is pricey, but good quality. I have a few closet staples from here that I splurged on, and they've held up well over time.

Very good store for quality clothing, shoes, etc. Good selection of designs and well displayed. Good customer service. Reasonably priced for the quality of the items. Very good returns and exchange policy

I am typically late to any trendy bandwagon. I wait for crowds to dissipate and then make my move. I am also patient. I'm probably too patient for my own good. The first LL Bean store to open in Canada was this one in Oakville. If my memory serves me well, it was Summer 2019 when it opened its doors.I was recently in Oakville. I was at Oakville Place for the first time. I saw this store. I was happy. Over four years later, I made the pilgrimage to this store. It wasn't intentional, though. I just happened to need a Shoppers Drug Mart, which was steps away from this store.I became an LL Bean fan during my undergraduate years. For some unknown reason, I got its catalogue in the mail. I loved it so much. My first purchase was a purple pair of Mary Jane suede shoes from Rieker. I loved them so much that I grew to love LL Bean t-shirts and more.I was thrilled that my first LL Bean store that I frequented was its flagship store in Freeport, ME. I did a road trip eastbound through Canada and returned through the States. The flagship store was incredible, with its huge signature boot in front of the store.I have visited Canadian LL Bean stores in Barrie, Ottawa, and now, Oakville. I didn't feel the same excitement as I did getting products stateside. Maybe it's the price. I am a different shopper who likes deals and sales. I have rarely seen any decent discounts on products that I want at Canadian locations, including this one. I loved looking at branded tumblers, cute t-shirts, comfy hoodies, and more. Paying $75 for a t-shirt is frankly ridiculous. You want to be in the corners of this store. Clearance items are there. The back left corner had women's clothing discounted at 40% off. It's decent. Sadly, I didn't find anything in this corner that I wanted to buy.I did enjoy checking out the handbags, travel items, and luggage section. Prices weren't cheap, but I liked them.If you love YETI products, you have a fine selection here. Coolers. Tumblers. Ice chests. I saw so many accessories just for its drinkware. It was fascinating. You do pay for quality. Be prepared to shell out. Surprise!Out of all the LL Bean stores in Canada, I only bought items at the Ottawa location. I was there to partake in a Canada Day sale and there were more products on sale. I wish that there were a similar sale when I was at this store. It was nice to get my fix seeing and touching products, as opposed to leafing through a physical catalogue or browsing items online. This store was huge and spacious.I had an enjoyable time. I do hope that there are more sales in future. The outerwear and footwear looked so nice and functional.(430)

Please improve your "Find In Store" online. Sometimes it's there, other times it's not. I find your sizing it sometimes a little bigger, sometimes a little smaller, so I don't know which to order. I'd prefer to come in and try them on.

Disagree with many of the negative reviews. If you need a refund right away, stop buying things on credit. I've buying LL Bean clothes for a long time. I made dozens and dozens of purchases. The quality is very good, most materials excellent and the service I experienced has always been good whether online, on the phone or in the store.

Beautiful clothes... but why are your clearance items marked higher than the original price?

Had a terrible experience buying and returning a snow shoe at Oakville mall. At time of purchase no staff was around to guide me what to buy to match the weight and gender and the staff member at the cash register had no product knowledge to answer any questions. I had to return one of them because it was the wrong size. The item had all the tags and was in original form and bag, at the time of return the staff ( a petite blond girl with long hair) refused to do the refund because the barcode was missing and she said she had to measure the item to find out if the product was for male/female and also the size to match with the receipt!!! she treated me like she has found a thief or something! Nobody had No product knowledge when selling the item but at return they became experts! The Manager was a professional and handled the situation. I never had such an awefull experience returning a brand new product with original tags and bag! Horrible customer service!

Our family has shopped for probably 40 years at the LL Bean flagship store in Freeport Maine and online. We enjoy Maine and always make a trip. Since stores have opened in Canada we have shopped at the stores in Oakville and Waterloo Ontario. A week ago in the Oakville store we purchased items totalling more than $500. When we returned home we realized the staff neglected to move the black security tag from a sweater. When I called, a very polite person at the store said I would have to return for them to remove it. When I told her that I lived about an hour away (each way) she said the only other thing I could do was take the sweater to various retail stores in my area and hopefully one may have the same technology and could remove the security tag. Disappointed that she didn’t appreciate it was their mistake and my inconvenience I asked if they could not do something else to compensate me for their error and the couple hours it will require for me to correct their mistake? She said, “No they couldn’t.” I asked her to speak with her manager and left my details. That was a week ago and I have had not heard back. Here is the irony: over the years I led customer service seminars for companies including retailers and I always used my experience with great customer service at the store in Freeport Maine! Oh well, I guess what I should do is wear the sweater and when people spot the big black security tag I will tell them about my experience which certainly does not live up to the L.L. Bean values. Sorry to have to report this about my L.L. Bean.

Horrible customer experience. They don't know the meaning of customer service. I returned a jacket but was not refunded the amount paid.I called the 1800 number Who told me to call the storeI called the store who told me to call the 1800 number. The manager was so rude and unhelpful.I've called the 1800 4 times. The agents keep giving me different stories about my refund or hang up on me mid conversation.I STILL have not received my refund!!!! Horrible Horrible company
