Great... got what I needed and even had a person in dairy, stocking product, who directed me to the deli section for the type of cheese I needed. Only request would be to have cashiers available, instead of struggling to go through self check out. Although, they had a very help young lady at the self check-out.

On the evening of October 7th, my girlfriend and I entered your store to pick up a few groceries. When we were making our purchase, Cashier "160" was on her phone and wouldn't serve us until she was finished texting. When asked to serve us, she was rude and had an awful attitude because she had to stop texting to do her job. (Check out time 5:51 pm) Somebody working to serve your customers with this attitude shouldn't be ignored.

This Food Basics is absolutely disgusting!!!! People STOP shopping here!!! They advertise they close at 9pm..yet..10mins before the your actual close time, employees stand guard with door closed, turning patrons back saying FB is closed??!!!!! WELL NO...u close at 9pm...not 8:50pm. The smoking supervisor Richard is the worse employee with an attitude, he's rude and should NOT work in a customer service environment. Not to mention, the countless times that I have purchased produce here only to find it is spoiled and rotten when I get home. People work too hard for their money to literally throw it in the garbage! I will never walk into this location again...there will always be an alternative and I have many other options. DO BETTER FOOD BASICS KERR ST!!!

I’m not sure want is going on at this store staff are rude and not helpful at all. I went in to buy a bag of onions that is in the flyer for 4.98 and when it rang in it came up to 6.99 I told the helper at the self checkout and she told me that it not at their food basic maybe at one of the other ones that they use version 1 what ever that means and would not give me the price in the flyer then as I was done and putting my groceries back in the buggy to leave I noticed that the package of chicken I picked the chicken was green and looked spoiled I told the helper and she rudely told me I would have to get back in line with the cashier to get a refund 25 minutes later I was finally done. This is horrible customer service what is going on at this location really seem like they are going out of their way to piss people off.

Hi this store is alright. Sometimes the service lacks. Most times Not. Gettin raw chicken here is sometimes sketchy. If u see 10- 40% off don't buy it. Look at it & the expiration dates aswel. If the chicken has a yellowish color on the skin. That means it's old & been sittin there a while. Not Good. Look for chicken that's white period. Good luck people lol.
