They always say timing is everything in this case very true. I found this gem of a place through a co-worker who had suggested Bob after sharing my on going car issue and he had assured me I would be in good hands, he was right . An on going problem for years was resolved in two visits. Bob has working traits not seen today he knew what he was doing he had the years of experience, the knowledge of older cars, customer service skills and most importantly he was honest about the work needed. I was pleased Bob took the time to explain what the issue was and how he would resolve it asking me questions to make sure I understood. If you are looking for a place to have your car looked at you might want to visit Wrench and Spray Gun. You won’t be disappointed you will be grateful that finally an owner who has old school values works hard for you to be able to drive on the road safely .

Reliable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable mechanic! I’ve been taking my car to Bob for over 5 years and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He will be honest and straightforward with you whether or not your car needs a repair because he cares about his customers and their safety. He always takes the time to explain what the job requires and why it needs to be done. I also appreciate that he gives me a heads up when there’s an upcoming service that I will need to budget for, like brakes. Bob has problem-solved so many issues in a way that was affordable and saved me future car issues down the line. He always says “oil is cheap” and encourages you to get more regular oil changes! I don’t live in the area but will continue to make the drive to North York because it really is worth it.

Friendly, caring and knowledgeable service. Bob really cares about his customers and puts integrity before profit. I live out of town and still come to Bob for my car service. I was recommended by a friend now recommended other friends about his service.

CCA changed my battery 3 months previous, and there was clearly something wrong with the car immediately afterwards. The car radio/car energy would shut off intermittently. Some online reading told me that the battery cables must be loose, so I called CAA to tighten them. They came back, assured me that everything was perfectly tight and not loose and there must be something else wrong with the car. I will not trust CAA to touch my car again.
So, I took the car to the dealership. They charged me $200 to diagnose that the battery cables were indeed loose. They then informed me that the cables had to be changed, and the cost for labor etc would be $1200. My car is 16 years old and I'm not sure the whole car is worth that much. Fortunately, a good friend told me that Bob at Wrench and Spraygun Auto was a great mechanic who could be trusted. He was ABSOLUTELY correct! Bob is amazing. He fixed my car quickly, it runs perfectly, and it cost me $60 as he was able to fix my existing cables and tighten them appropriately. I would recommend Bob to everyone in the future. A trustworthy mechanic is incredibly valuable and I cannot say enough amazing things about Bob and Wrench & Spraygun Auto. Thank you again for all your help! You're lifesavers.

So glad to have found such an honest, respectful, and caring human-being and mechanic in Bob. He took care of my car, fixed only what was needed, and returned it back when he was 110% satisfied with the work done. My car was treated as if it were his car while in his shop! Fantastic follow-up service too. Highly recommended!!

Bob and George are some hard working guys. Always great service in that I mean they got to get the job done. Whenever Bob gets a chance he’ll let me use one of his cars while my car is getting serviced. I’m not sure it’s a thing with him but he’s been nice enough to do so when he has something available. Had to go across the country. He knew that I was driving all the way to Alberta at Christmas and made sure to check on me during my trip just to see that if I was OK. Unfortunately when I came home from Alberta. The engine blew on my car, and he made sure I got the best engine available and after the engine was installed, I haven’t had one issue with the replacement one. One time I even bought the wrong set a tires which can damage the Differential and he made sure I got the proper tires in order to save me a lot of money. I don’t know what to say because I can’t say enough of the service I get from this guy. Too many good stories and I’ll have to keep writing on and on. I have been going to Bob for over 23 years, 18 years of those I have been driving from Oakville. A friend brought their car to a dealer and the dealer quoted over $4,000. Bob towed the car to his place on his own dime and only charged $1,300. Bob is a reliable and honest mechanic. He cares about his customers finances and will amazingly forecast when things need to be fixed on cars.Services: Transmission

There are not enough words to describe Bob and his impeccable work ethic ??. “Your car is my car” is his motto and ain’t that the truth. I came to Bob with a major emergency and my car has never ran better since he returned Bruce back to me.I had a battery issue no one could fix. Bob dissected the problem from every angle and even took it to an amazing electrical mechanic named Robin and together they gave me some recommendations and I haven’t had battery issues since ??.Bob also checked others things that validated many things I also believed were wrong with the car and he fixed those problems as well.Not to forget to mention he did complimentary things like top up my windshield fluid and replace my back parking light. He also offered his car to me because my car was deemed too dangerous to drive.Services: Tires
