I had a certificate for the ring, but he appraised it perfectly without looking at it! There were many other gemstones on display as well. I'm really glad I found a reliable jeweler! “My experience with customer service at this location is mixed. I do not live in the area, so making a trip to try on the jewelry is a planned & time consuming event. I wanted a specific piece for my push present from my husband.
I first called a while before I was planning to be in town, and asked if the piece I wanted would be in stock. The lady on the phone seemed confused while looking up the piece and was generally unhelpful. I was told that it wasn't a guarantee that they would have it or that they could be sure to have my size when I came in to try it on. I was disappointed with this news as I was planning to make a trip here as a stop on the way from Wasaga Beach (quite out of the way) and didn't think it would be worth it if I arrived and they didn't have what I needed to try on. I was told I'd need to buy the piece in order to try it on and was offered no other options. I believe I spoke with Bella.
I decided to try my luck and call again a week before my Wasaga trip and spoke with Rianne. She was amazing and very helpful. She found the piece in my size and ensured that they would do their best to hold on to it for me so that I could try it on, and that if it sold they would do their best to get another one in before I arrived. I was also worried about being between sizes so she made sure to order the piece in the 2nd size so I could also try that as well. I wasn't required to pay for the pieces. She gave me her number and kept me updated through text throughout the week.
When I arrived to try the piece, Rianne mentioned to speak with Shirin as she wasn't working that day, but I arrived before Shirin's shift started and ended up speaking with Bella. Again, she seemed confused and unhelpful. I mentioned I had 2 pieces to try on and one was the 2nd size that Rianne informed me was in the back for me. She was able to get me the first piece to try on (it was on display) but could not locate the 2nd in the back. I specifically needed to try both as I was concerned the first was too large but the whole time I was there she was unable to locate it despite it being specifically ordered in for me. Shirin eventually arrived and helped with the rest of the experience which was great, and helped with the sizing and I eventually made the purchase. I received messages from Rianne the next day showing me the size comparison between the two pieces so I know the 2nd size was in store when I was there, which was very frustrating. She assured me that if I need to exchange the size it would be no problem, despite the fact that they had to special order the piece for me.
I was told it would take 8-10 weeks but it arrived in 4 weeks only! Luckily the size seemed to be okay so I ended up with exactly what I wanted and am a very happy customer in the end. Rianne is amazing and very helpful and so was Shirin while I was in the store. But if I had not made that 2nd call and got Rianne on the phone after originally speaking with Bella, its likely I would not have found my perfect push present. Both on the phone and in person, Bella was unhelpful, seemed unknowledgable, and not willing to come up with solutions to the various concerns I had. I would not recommend working with her.”
