We dealt with Chris D' Souza and he was very helpful from the start.
This is our first purchase and before beginning the process, Chris walked us through the whole process. Once we were comfortable, we opened up an application and began our home search. Once we finalized, Chris was on top of everything and got financing approved within a few days.
Anything that was missed for documenting purposes, he made sure to let us know and worked with us to get those documents.
I'm looking forward to continue working with Chris and Sherwood team to further expand on our real estate Portfolio.

This is by far the best mortgage broker i’ve worked with. From the owner to the agents, to the other staff, they truly treat you with the upmost respect. I was in a tough situation where I could not obtain financing for a home I previously owned. However, with the help of Labros Bakogiannis & Carla Tavares, i was able to get qualified and solve my dilemma. I had trouble throughout multiple steps, and they were very patient and helpful in providing guidance. Overall i am very pleased with the firm, and very thankful. If i could give them a 6 star review I would.

Working with Liz from Sherwood Mortgage Group (AB) has been a dream. She was supportive and proactive during my separation, and made sure that I had all of my ducks in a row. She did such a great job helping me through it, that I called her right back when it was my time to buy a house. She was always genuine, kind and explained things with patience. I was lucky to have her on my team.

Anthony took the time to listen to my situation and needs aswell as understood the pressure and time frame I had. He knew what to ask for and made me feel hopeful right at our first conversation. From the start of the process to the end our deal was through professional and done in a timely order. He took the time to answer any other questions I had moving forward in the future aswell.
Carla was so wonderful to work with! Very professional and very friendly. She was quick to respond in any questions I had. I have dealt with banks in my previous purchases and I have to say this company would be my number one go to.
I highly recommend to anyone this is the right and fair company to go with.

Update: Sherwood Mortgage, in particular Sydney, have remained helpful, 6 yrs later! At renewal time, Sydney was willing to field my calls and questions. Now we're considering moving and, again, she has stepped up, huge; helping us with understanding how porting and bridging, etc all work, and offering great advice and assistance.Thank you, Syd!They were the first broker I called. Sydney answered and immediately was extremely helpful. She is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. We are first-time home buyers and Sydney always kept us informed about what we needed to do and when. She got us a fantastic mortgage rate, and a mortgage with many features; definitely not a bottom tier mortgage!
