I bought my prom dress here and the service was amazing Nicole helped me out and she was so kind. everything was just amazing she found dresses she thought I might like and didn’t push me to buy anything ,she helped me tie up my dress and untie them .when u come here u feel important they really care and you can tell not only this but the options of dresses are absolutely gorgeous . If you shopping for a dress this is the place to go !

I had a very disappointing experience at this boutique. The staff were rude, unaccommodating, and unprofessional. I asked for a box to ship the $2,000 dress outside the country as a gift for my niece’s quinceañera, and the response was appalling. One staff member sarcastically laughed and the manager? impatiently told me they don't have boxes because they throw them out on Tuesdays. I don't understand what was so funny about my request, and the dismissive attitude was completely unnecessary. I ended up buying the dress only because I was in a rush, but I definitely won’t be coming back. The point of this review is not about I receive a box or not , but it’s about their attitude. There are plenty of other boutiques with better service, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects respectful and helpful staff.

Had a great experience at Madeline’s today. All of the staff were extremely helpful. Nicole spent the time and searched out many dresses for me to select. Eventually I found a lovely dress. Many of the dresses were stunning.

Madeleine's is the best gown boutique in the city but do not go to CHIN ALTERATIONS ON 399 OLD ORCHARD ROAD, The worse alterations recommendation, they wanted to charge me $340 for a hem and 5cm take in on both sides and my dress cost me $350. I ended up just getting a 1 inch hem at the front, not even all around the dress for $95. They were rude, both the husband and wife. Believe the bad reviews on their page and go somewhere else.

I went to the Pickering location yesterday and it was the best dress buying experience I’ve ever had! Normally I spent over an hour trying on so many different things that don’t look or fit right, the gentleman that helped me picked out the perfect dress and accessories on the very first try, and he stayed within the budget we had as well. Awesome store and awesome staff, thanks so much!

I wish there was a ZERO. Gave 1 star because the girl who assisted me to buy a wedding guest dress was very helpful and polite.
I drove 1.5 hrs to this store because I recently moved out of Toronto and this store is all I knew for this type of dresses. I used to love it here. Now, I wish I read thw reviews before spending any money there.
I was cleared that I need a dress ready as I didn’t have time for any alterations. After quite a few dresses I was offered one that recently got on sale. I tried and love it! I was in between 2 styles tho so I put them on hold. Next day first thing I called to pay over the phone and plan to pick it up on a later day. My husband coming from Toronto got my dress and it was in poor condition. I was explained that the dress went on sale but is new and the deess I tries on was new! The dress I got has one breast-pad missing and the other one unstitched halfway, some of the FRONT beads missing and a small part on the side of the dress is ripped off. I put in in hold when the atore was closing for the day and pay the next day so unless they allowed other person to try it on while on hold and by accident damaged the dress, this is not the same dress.
I inspected the dress and the dress was new! I was told the whole Nicoletta dress collection was on sale (even in the website) but they will inspect the dress before sending it to me of course.
So I called, mostly because I was disappointed WOW WHAT A MANAGER!!!
I explained the situation, still calm and polite. Her first answer was… “well you got a dress on sale of course it is going to be damage, if you want me to fix it You have to bring the dress back and I will charge you for it”. Still nice I explained that the condition of the dress I put on hold and purchased was perfect, this was not it. She proceeded to say “ if you pay $200 for a $600 dress is because is damage or it wouldn’t go on sale”
Notice? Not even an apology, let me see what went wrong?, sorry for the inconvenience and of course a condescending tone…. At this point I asked to speak with the manager and she gave me the surprise that she was the manager.
I explained that I don’t have time to travel there to get it fix, budget wasn’t the problem when I went to buy the dress, it happened that the one I liked was on sale. AND I spend a good amount of the conversation explaining that I need a dress that fits me with no alterations!!!!
I don’t want to complaint about the store because the girls that day were nice and the gentleman that helps on entry is kind.. but WOW this Manager is something else.
I WILL NOT EVER SPEND A SINGLE DOLLAR IN THIS STORE EVER AGAIN.
There is many places with kind people looking for support to their business.
To the Manager: seriously, get your Xmas bonus and buy yourself some customer service training for dummies.

The staff were extremely rude. I traveled a long distance to buy an outfit for my upcoming birthday party, but they refused to let me use the fitting rooms and mocked me. Like where in the world staff makes fun of a customer as opposed to accommodating? Think twice before going here if you don't want your mood and vibe ruined before your event.

Such a wonderful experience! Christine assisted my mom with MOB dress shopping. She was quick to understand what style my mom was looking for and was extremely kind and helpful through the entire appointment. My mom and I had so much fun and are so pleased that she found her dress! The rest of the staff were all so friendly and complimentary as well. We truly loved our experience.
