My name is Andy Hoffer. I live in Toronto Canada. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Anthony Saab of Khan Scope yesterday November 5, 2024. I came in with the objective of finding a telescope that would meet my technical requirements and my budget. Anthony is a master at tailoring those things to the customer. If you are going to buy a telescope, and I recommend that you do, you have got to get to Khan Scope and speak with Anthony. The depth of his knowledge in the field of astronomy is remarkable. He knows his product line inside out. He will help you make intelligent choices that will optimize your viewing experience. I cannot say enough about this intelligent, wonderful individual who goes out of his way to make your purchase the right one.
I purchased a Celestron NexStar SE6 telescope. This machine is so much more than a telescope. It is an advanced computerized viewing device for looking at celestial objects. The particular combination that I got is a 6-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope m. The prime lens is a beautiful 1500 mm / f10. The supplied 25mm eyepiece coupled with the 1500 mm prime lens provides a magnification of 60x, more than adequate for my needs (mainly moon gazing, although I imagine once I discover more distant objects, like planets and the like, I will start saving for my own Hubbell telescope !!). For now I will amp up my celestial passions as a moon photography junkie, forever indebted to Anthony Saab and Khan Scope for the wonderful gift of so generously welcoming me into the beautiful universe of astronomy and celestial observation and photography. What a blessing!!

Great buying experience. Prompt replies to email questions. Order was ready within hours. Pickup was lots of fun. Great conversation with Ray and I think his name was Mike. The Celestron Origin is amazing.

Scammers, sold a dud product, wouldn't take it back when i went back. Got hyper defensive, and kicked me out for asking for a refund. They are scammers.

Owner was very knowledgeable and helped me find a suitable eyepiece within my price range very quickly. I also lost a screw and he gave me a replacement just like that! Great customer service. Will definitely be back again.

I came to this store because I needed something in a rush. What a mistake that was. I met the owner but did not let him know that I was very knowledgeable. He proceeded to “flex” his “expert” opinions and while some statements were fine others were clearly bull or hyperbole. Customers that lack sufficient knowledge could easily be tricked. While talking to me the owner used his iPhone to secretly take photos of me. He did not ask permission to take my photo. Why would he take personal photos when the store already has security cameras? Very creepy and weird. The prices are high and if I were not in a rush I would have bought elsewhere for a lower price. If you can, I suggest you find some other supplier.

The staff at Khan Scope are very patient and knowledgeable. They take the time to understand their clients’ needs, and help their clients make good purchasing decisions. The entire staff is always available to answer questions and troubleshoot issues.

I'm a beginner in astrophotography and bought my first telescope here. The staff are really kind and welcoming. They had a Seestar s50 in stock, which is usually rare. Please ignore the bad reviews this place is great.

There have been some negative reviews in the past about this place. I, for one, have been dealing with them for about a year and have had all positive experiences. The service has been top-notch. The pricing is very competitive. Keep it up Anthony.

I purchased a ZWO product at Rays place. It was in stock even though its a hard to find product. The seller Anthony, really gave me some helpful advice after looking at some of my astrophotos.

This is my second order with Khan Scope. I purchased a used Celestron Nexstar 8 inch SCT "package" just over a year ago. Ray listened to my goals and gave me good advice about starting "small" and then working my way up into astrophotography.
I just traded this first scope in, and purchased and EDGE 9.25 and Celestron CGX mount, again based on Ray's advice. Excellent choice. I have several hours on the unit combination (thanks to merciful cloudless nights lately).
This is a great unit and I truly appreciate the service, advice and ability to trade in and up.

As a newbie to the world of astronomy I have to say this place did an amazing job making me feel comfortable. It was easy to ask questions of the staff (Ray and Anthony) and at no time did I feel like I was being talked into buying anything I didn't need for my venture into astrophotography.
I'm a seasoned photographer but new to astrophotography and I really appreciated Anthony's taking the time to help me find the right telescope adapter hardware for my DSLR. If I decide to upgrade to dedicated astrophotography gear I'm definitely choosing Khan Scope Centre.

I was shopping for a smartphone filter for the upcoming eclipse (admittedly last minute) but the customer service at Khan Scope Centre was top notch. I was able to find what I needed and at a very reasonable price as well! Overall this is the best local telescope store in north Toronto. Make sure to visit when shopping your next scope!
