I bought a golf there a couple years ago from Art, was a pretty good buying experience overall. He gave me a good deal on my trade in car, and the vehicle I was purchasing was priced very well. Only complaints I have was that The car was given to me with barely enough gas to get to the closest station and when I got the car it was the end of the day and there was an engine light on and the turbo was not functional. Luckily I was able to clear the code at home and the turbo was just seized from carbon deposits. I'd look here again if a well priced car came up, but would inspect the cars very closely. Art was also very willing to help out with this issue as well only challenge was I lived far away.

Last month, at K&L Auto sales, I bought a car that I like very much at a good price. The whole process and the after-sales service are both satisfactory. I am very grateful to Alex and K&L Auto sales staff!

The worst dealership experience in 30 years in North America. The owner pretended to accumulate some expenses for improving an old BMW (produced some long list of things that were done without even the transfer of the car) and retained 1 K from our downpayment. Working with OMVIC to get this resolved now. Also the dealer was forcing to get me to acquire the car instead of my son and here is an excerpt from his email "We could do registration under your name but you also refuse it. ( interesting, why mother doesn't want to help her son?) " What a nasty experience and a bad taste in my mouth. Do not recommend this nightmare to anybody.

I had an excellent experience with K&L! Alex was great to work with, was very responsive, and went above and beyond with any questions or special requests I had! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.I’ll never go anywhere else! I would highly highly recommend visiting the good people at K&L.

Worst dealer. Stole 1 K from our down payment without the bill of sales and a contract. Dealing with him through OMVIC. The dealer was forcing me to take the car to my name when my son's insurance did not work out. Beloe is the quote from his email We could do registration under your name but you also refuse it. ( interesting, why mother doesn't want to help her son?)

Worst dealers ever. The slim tall guy is always rude with the customers. He doesn’t know how to respect customers

Where do I start. I bought a 2008 Subaru Impreza from K & L auto I was told that the safety was done and they replaced the tires and the brakes did not need to be changed as they had 80% life left! Seemingly I trusted that there wouldn’t be any more problems with the car due to the fact my family has bought in four Subarus within the last year from K&L but maybe a month and a bit after picking up the car my rear brakes start making crazy grinding noise so I take the car to Subaru and lo and behold the rear brakes are completely shot and I haven’t even driven 1000km yet. Forgo $300 plus expenses later at Subaru to get my car fixed properly! Clearly the dealership from past reviews and my own experience has a problem with safety in cars because either the mechanic is unexperienced or they are doing fake safeties. Places like this give used car Dealers a bad name, And the problem isn’t even about the money but just be upfront about a problem to a car or get someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to safetying a car!

Not a good car buying experience, always get a third party inspection before buying a vehicle here even if they say its safetied in house!

Got my first car here. I spent weeks looking for a car that was in my budget and met all my needs. I found the perfect used car here. It was a bit over my budget but I managed to make it work and Alex and Art were very compromising. Art was extremely professional and even after buying the car when I had a small exhaust and belt issue after the first two weeks he took the car in right away and had the mechanic fix the issue. Didn’t have to pay for the fix. When I bought the car there was a driver side mirror issue which they promised to fix. It took a bit of time because the part was not easy to find, but they eventually got it. Unfortunately the mirror was not the right colour and my only issue was them not willing to paint it for me, as fixing the mirror was part of the deal. But with all the other small things I came in for, the painting was not a big problem and I’m just happy they took care of everything else. Overall, Alex and Art were very professional, and were able to help me every time I came in and right away. I’ll definitely be coming back to them if I need a new car in the future, and will recommend them to my friends. I originally got the recommendation to come to them straight from the Toyota dealership, so if they trust them, so can I. Thanks guys for everything!

I got my first TOYOTA car from K and L. Car was in great condition but pricing of this dealership is not that great. If anyone charge extra for good quality then it’s fine but here way too much without any winter tire set so definitely go there but don’t go with their price at all. Negotiate the Price and always forget about their 30 days warranty, it ain’t going to happen anything to your car for next 60 days after that you will definitely see true colours comes out with such surprises as brake rotor condition , battery life and tire condition. This is a long term user review, I hope it helps to other.

The car seemed priced right. We went with the intention of purchasing the vehicle but were turned off by their unprofessional and inflexible behaviour. I indicated to Art from the beginning that their reviews were horrible and I wanted to be extra careful as a result. I was blocked at every stage. Despite a willingness to do whatever was necessary I was being forced to follow their inflexible procedures. Starting by being forced to ride in a small car with the salesman Art in the middle of a Covid pandemic if I wanted to take the car out for a test drive. I offered to sign anything and have him talk to my insurance company. Art refused. I asked to speak to their insurance company representative. The answer was no. I asked repeatedly to speak to Alex the manager and the answer was no. Then, I was also told that under no circumstances could the car be taken on the highway even just from one exit to the next. The answer was no. I indicated that this was necessary for us to buy the car they said no. Again I said that they could talk to my insurance company. No. I asked to speak to the manager again. No. I gave Art hours to look into working out a compromise. He didn't try. I was told that I would have to basically buy the car first. I said that I would want to take it to our mechanic. The answer was no. I was told that it had to be taken to a specific Toyota Dealership. Believe it or not I was still trying to make this sale work. The "one" Toyota dealership was booked solid for a Safety test. I set up another one with another Toyota dealer five minutes farther. I was told no again that it had to be only the one Toyota dealership. Also Art had to go to the dealership with me in the car. I understand that under normal circumstances a salesperson might like to come with you for a test drive. These are not normal circumstances. Most dealers allow you to go alone. Or perhaps bend their rules or look the other way after you give them your drivers license and insurance. This inflexibility shows that they are not serious about selling cars and allowing the opportunity for an unbiased inspection. My conclusion is that they are hiding information about the car when combined with the horrible reviews from other dissatisfied customers. Trust your gut. Call first, ask what you are allowed to do and what you are not allowed to do. Go to other dealership first. See what is normal and what is allowed. Buyer be very aware or risk being another one of the customers that feels that they were sold a bad car. Good luck.

I had a great experience with Art & Alex. I've had my 2015 car for several months now and have had no issues. The communication between them when i was purchasing was great, they were honest, nice, and knowledgeable. Don't let these bad reviews affect your chances of getting a quality vehicle.
