I am pleased to share my thoughts about Good life at this location. Staff are all great, gym is clean and well ran.
My journey with my trainer Farinaz has been so rewarding. She is very skillful and has helped me become stronger and happier. I have seen significant reductions in back pain and knee pain. Farinaz has done many corrective exercises to strengthen me.
She is more than a trainer to me. She influences me to become better and more confident. I always look forward to seeing her and just have a great time and feel a sense of accomplishment. Thank you so much ?

This is my first Goodlife fitness club. here is pluses and minuses.
6 years ago, massage chairs did not work properly, and they still do not work properly.
The towel apparently never gets washed, just thrown in the dryer. Is it really expensive bleach ,washing powder? Young trainers stand around laughing at other people as they work out instead of helping or just shutting up

I’ve been going to this gym for the longest time and I’ve been loving it from the amount of equipment they have to the nice staff! I only wish the internet and service was working because it barely works half the time.

Dangerous ab crunch machine. The metal parts rub against each other creating uneven resistance leading to muscle fatigue and spasms. Has been like this for a year. Manager is awaiting someone to get injured and land a lawsuit.

TLDR: I signed up at GoodLife for PT and when I tried to cancel I uncovered that I had sign a contract without my knowledge and to cancel my PT would cost me $1300.
To everyone who decides to come to this gym, I would like to share my experience at this GoodLife location. For anyone who wishes to buy a membership, a few things to be aware of before joining. The gym first and foremost is about selling memberships and personal training, and don’t value their members as people rather as a means to make money. They will relentlessly push personal training on you, even after you decline and will pursue you each time you step in the club. My boyfriend came as a visitor on one occasion and has been messaged consistently, asking to take personal training, even after refusing multiple times.
As for me personally, when I signed up I had heard stories about how their bad experiences with GoodLife fitness, but decided to go anyways since it was in a convenient location and I was in dire need of a gym. After I signed up, I was roped into personal training by being led to believe it was cancel at anytime with no strings attached. I later found out that this was not true and I was intentionally mislead by the staff and Manager (Christian). The personal trainer who’s name is Ali, explained me all the packages but was extremely pushy for me to sign even though I mention that I couldn’t afford it, so his response was that I was going to get a 40% discount since it was my first time, so that convinced me to sign. He took me to meet with Christian so I could pay for the PT. Process was quick, I payed, I sign an e signature which was a huge mistake.
After 2 weeks, I got charged from my account and that confused me because I thought it was a pay biweekly via direct payment, since they didn’t ask me for any bank information for automatic payments.
When the time came for me to cancel my PT because I couldn’t afford it and I mentioned it multiple times to Ali, he kept asking me to come for at least one month, which I rejected so i inquired about cancellation twice to which he said he did not have any knowledge of how cancellations work and had never done one before. So he told me that Christian was the only one in charge of doing that process.
I reached out to him explain him the situation and his response was not helpful full at all, all he told was that cancelling required a large sum and it wasn’t even worth it to do and I should continue with PT.
I tried to reach him through email and called multiple times at the gym but I wasn’t successful.
Long story short, I called the main office and was told that the only way for me to cancel is that I had to pay 20% of the total contract duration which is when I learned that I signed up for a 12 month contract that was $6600, and if I didn’t pay I would go to collections. This price was NEVER mentioned nor was the contract when Ali and Christian sold me the PT.
———
PT at this gym is a scam and the staff are dishonest and not helpful. Do not join any GoodLife gym or get PT. If anyone wants to know more they can read about very similar experiences of plenty of people online that happened in other locations too. This is their business model. Be careful.
