We called Express Appliance Repair to fix a broken fridge. We were told we needed to replace the timer, with the part + labour we paid $450+. We were told it would work again once it reset for 12 hours. It didn't. After phone calls and texts the tech advised us to buy a new fridge. We bought the new fridge but we had to call 17 times in order to have the refund for only $210 be processed even though the part and repair did nothing to fix the fridge. We were told by the manager 4 times the refund would be processed the following day and it wasn't. No message I left with the receptionist or voicemail was ever returned. The front desk staff were exceptionally rude. All in all a terrible experience at every step and we are still had to pay $240 for repairs that did nothing.

This company is running a scam,they charge you a downpayment and after they say they cannot fix the appliance,meanwhile they steal your service call and downpayment money,the authorities should be made aware of these scammers.

Disappointed....Unfortunately, my fridge was not working and I contacted Express Repair to inspect my fridge. When the technician inspected the fridge and said he couldn't fix it. An option he gave me was to buy a new fridge. I was charged $130+ for the inspection fee with no resolution. I contacted another company. They repaired the fridge for less than $300.

DO NO USE THIS COMPANY!!! They don't deserve ANY stars. Had to give them one star to post this review.I arranged to have a brand new dishwasher installed. They sent an incompetent "technician" on 11 August, 2023. Normally it would take about an hour to do. He as here for almost 2 hours trying to connect the intake water hose to the inlet water valve on the dishwasher. The manual states that you only need to turn the wrench a quarter turn to attach the hose. It is a plastic threaded connection. Anything over that and you risk compromising it. He used his wrench at least 20 times to try to connect the hose! He finally said that the connection was defective and he could not do anything with it.He then proceeded to charge me a $114.25 (incl tax) service call! The invoice I received stated the call was to diagnose the appliance and the inlet water valve is need to be replaced. This was a call to install a dishwasher not to diagnose the appliance!I contacted the company to file a complaint and request a refund. I was told the service manager (Michelle) was away on vacation and not back until beginning of Sept. Spoke to Michelle on 11 Sept. 2023. She stated she would have to speak to the technician and get back to me.Finally, spoke to her again on 13 Sept, 2023. She stated the technician denied my allegations. I asked her why a so called technician would spend so much time trying to connect a hose to a so called defective connection. He should have told me immediately before doing anything else! She didn't know. All she could offer was a $50 credit for any future calls. I told her I would never use their services again and where to shove her credit. She said she was sorry I felt that way. I said goodbye and hung up the phone.

STAY AWAY! I repeat, stay away from this "repair company" and seek another professional and ethical one. I have been experiencing Dryer Vent issues and after self-diagnosing the problem, I reached out to a (what I thought was) professional company for aid. I regret calling Express Appliance Repair. While booking the service call, I confirmed with the sales rep (3 different times) that their Service Technician would call me 30 mins prior to arrival on my property as it was my rental property and I don't live there. She ensured me that he would. On the day of the service between 3-5PM, I waited just 5 minutes away from the destination so I could arrive on time to meet and explain the problem in person to the technician and approve any further work (if required). I waited in my car for 1.5 hrs and while coincidently checking my phone, received an invoice of $230 in my mail. The invoice was not clear. I assume the breakdown of the invoice is $99 for initial assessment and $116 for any further work - which was not approved by the way. To clarify, I called the company back within minutes of receiving the invoice to understand what repair was even conducted as I had already done majority of the technical repair myself. I also reminded that that this was the reason why the Technician was supposed to call me prior to arrival on my property. The sales rep said that the Technician would call me back to explain what he did within 30 mins...He never called me back.The following day, Express Appliance Repair called me demanding payment of the invoice. I explained that the invoice in invalid and incorrect. The technician never called me prior to arrival on my property (as I had been promised by the company), so by me physically not being present, I never authorized any work to be conducted, the technician took it upon himself to conduct the business on my property therefore, this contract was breached. After hearing this, I was told a "Manager" would call me back. This conversation happened on August 11th 2023 and I have yet to hear from a Manager. Today's date is September 7th 2023. Over the few weeks that have passed, this company has sent me (the same) numerous invoices without calling me back to discuss the issue. I have an active Voicemail on the number provided to them so they can leave a call back number incase I miss their call. As a responsible client, I have tried several times to reach out to them to resolve the problem. I keep getting empty promises that a manager named "Michelle" will call me back... no one has called me. They have now added another surcharge of $99 to my invoice as "Collection Agency Fee" making a total invoice of almost $340! I am bewildered at this incredibly unprofessional customer service and would never recommend this "company" to friends or family. They have lost me as a customer.

please do not call this company; I paid $332 for them to put black tape around a water tube. It did not fix the problem. Staff was rude and unprofessional. I need full refund asap

I purchased a stacking washer and drier at the beginning of April. The unit didn't work and would not dry clothes. It has been replaced 3 times. Their technicians were out to see the unit and installed new parts. Their technicians told us that they always have problems with these older units. Unfortunately, the problem was never solved. After the third replacement, they promised that they would refund our money. We spoke with the company owner, Igor Imas, on June 12. It has been over a month now and we are not getting any feedback about our refund. No calls are returned and no refund was received.
