Love this store! The staff and the manager are extremely helpful and the store is always kept well organized and clean! The team always puts in the extra effort to ensure people have a good experience!

The manager of this store is a very rude, impatient, and impolite woman who has no idea how to treat her employees or customers. Her appearance is very sloppy, and her attire is not appropriate for a store manager. I am surprised that Dollarama would employ such unqualified and poor-quality individuals in its management, as this damages the beloved Dollarama brand in the eyes of its customers.

I am disgusted when it comes to the staff at this location.
One staff member had accused my mother of cutting the line and told her to go to the very back. She originally was standing next to me, then infront moved to stand infront of me. This one worker stared at her (from behind, so my mom didn't see him), bypassed me AND the customer behind me. Went straight to the couple behind the customer behind me and asked the couple if my mom had cut the line. I found this worker racist given he didn't ask me and didn't ask the customer behind me. The couple was of the same background as that worker. The moment he started accusing my mom of cutting the line and telling her to go to the back of the line, I got extremely upset and told him she's with me and we're paying together. The audacity of this worker..
On a seperate event at this location, I had lost an item and my friend had helped me call the store here to ask if something was forgotten/left in store as I was retracing my steps, in the mall, looking for what I've lost. The manager was on the phone with my friend and yelled at my friend and hung up on her too. She didn't bother trying to help out and all my friend and I needed to know was was if something was accidentally left in the store at one of the self check outs or not. A simple yes or no.
There are more horrible incidents while interacting with staff here that I personally feel that a 1 star is quite generous.

I dont need some disgruntled pre-teen with rage problems pretending he's a cop preventing me from buying items while I'm waiting in line to pay.
Your security really thinks their cops when even cops wouldn't behave as horribly as that kid you hired as "security."
Everyone except for that child knows that security guards are regular civilians. They're supposed to balance customer service with the interests of the store. Did this kid even do the training or are you illegally hiring kids without proper training?
If I'm already waiting in line to buy things, why scream at me to drop the $6 item I'm looking at multiple times? Why let me pay for anything at all? Especially when your cashiers are all busy cashing out other customers. There were even customers after we left so this also seems very discriminatory to just target me out of all the customers left in the store.
I'm appalled by how horribly this location is run and how badly your store wants to lose business. I guess your store likes to treat customers like livestock because it's absolutely dehumanizing to have your staff yell while waiting to pay for a purchase. I really dont get why your store even has items near to cash registers if you refuse to let customers look at them while they're waiting in line.
I regret making any purchase today and will stick to Dollar Tree and Winners from now on. Their home decor and stationery is better anyways, and they dont have such embarrassing staff.
Dollarama doesn't allow refunds and exchanges as well because they're clearly out to scam people with such low quality items. Otherwise, I'd gladly return my purchase. Maybe this over-hormonal child in a wannabe SWAT vest did me a favour and saved me from buying something else that will break the moment I leave the store. (Yes, they really uniform their 'security' to look like law enforcement when nowhere else does this, which makes them behave so horribly.)
Paying a few more dollars for quality and an overall better experience is never a bad thing. Don't forget Miniso is also in this mall and far better for similar pricing.
