I went to the nearest cibc branch with the guidance of customer service due to a problem I had with my credit card. Mr. Amit welcomed me and my friend. He was very rude to us in a way I didn't understand. We went to his room for the problem. The problem I had was identity verification. He told us that there were 2 errors and said that he could solve the first error with the customer representative and then do the other error. Even though we told him that we were directed here by the customer representative, he didn't deal with us. We left the branch and talked to the customer representative. The customer representative apologized to me and said that something could be done about the problem after we went to the branch and did the identity verification and explained that the two problems were unrelated and would be solved after identity verification in both. Later, we went back and Mr. Amit took us to his room in a very rude way. He told us the same things again. He told us to call customer service when he should have called him. He was shouting at us and making up all kinds of excuses not to deal with the problem. He looked at us and shouted and said very rudely that "he wouldn't help if he wanted to and he didn't have to deal with it even if he gave wrong information." I was very upset that an organization like cibc had such a disrespectful, rude and unprofessional employee. RUDE AMIT MEHTA. I hope you will never have such employees in your organization again. Later, I went to another cibc branch and solved the problem in 30 minutes.

This is a not a full service bank center. It does not have tellers however it does not say that anywhere and pretends to be a regular branch.

100/10 Customer Service Experience. Compared to the other CIBC branch near my house. My Mom and me got there 5mins early but the branch manager a blonde lady with glasses opened the door and let us in to warm. We had an appointment with Sherry Narang and it was the most easy, smoothest, understandable Request, Approval, Transaction process to take place. Sherry easily re explained everything we were asking for back to us, explained our options, and still respected our request compared to other branches that had my mom running around for years with her request. Very stressful times for hardworking Canadians and the least we need is bad customer service from our big Banks. Thank you again to the manager and Sherry for that! Deal with these people!!!

I went to update my file in this location and for my surprise since I don’t have an account and no appointment (I only have a credit card with CIBC) they asked me to go to other location because they were “busy” when there were people there doing absolutely nothing and could have updated my file.Usually I don’t make waves but that kind of thing is really annoying! Every costumer matter whatever banking or not.

Not all branches are the same and I really want to give this one a shout out. This branch has been extremely helpful in our entire financial process. We have been with CIBC for a very long time and I have always been very satisfied, but this branch takes it to another level. We were looking for a proactive financial advisor due to the lack of attention from our previous financial advisor. This branch ensured everything was transferred properly and with little effort from us. In the end, it was all worth it. We gave CIBC one more shot under the watch of Anna and Bilal and I am happy that we did. Bilal is exactly what we were looking for when it comes to our financials. He reviewed our account prior to meeting, had a solid plan on how it was to be handled, and gave us an explanation in simple English. No high-level financial chat He took his time and accommodated us on a Saturday. He went through every account in detail and as well as options. I want to thank you once again and I am happy to let you know we are recommending you to all family and friends.
