Mike and Kevin did a wonderful job of adding to the life of my 92 year old white spruce by tying the the two shoots of the trunk at the top with 30 inch diameter airplane wire to prevent them from killing the tree by splitting in a wind storm.

Great experience with Manotick Tree. We had them plant trees years ago in our Greely home and had them back this Fall to give a good pruning. The office was friendly, the crew showed up on time, and they knew what they were doing. They listened to our needs and explained how they would proceed. We also had two older trees removed with no issues. The new maple was planted with care and an eye for site lines and privacy. Clean up was good and our yard looks amazing! Would highly recommend.

Had two very large trees (willow and honey locus) trimmed this morning. Crew arrived punctually, were pleasant to deal with, and did a great job. They left the site immaculate. Would highly recommend.

Living in an older section of Manotick, we have a number of trees on our property that were in need of some serious trimming/removal. The largest of these is an 80 to 100 ft. Maple with a trunk circumference in excess of 13 ft. Having dealt with, and been satisfied with Manotick Tree services in the past, we requested a quote for the pruning of the Maple, and the removal/trimming of several smaller trees on the opposite side of the house that had overgrown, and were blocking the furnace and fireplace vents on our chimney.
Certified Arborist, Nick, paid us a visit, and did a walk around to inspect each of the trees we felt needed attention. Nick’s detailed quote arrived a few days later, and we found it to be both informative, and reasonable, considering the scope of work involved. We asked to proceed, and were advised by their Tree Service Coordinator, Jessica, that they were currently scheduling work for late October but we would be contacted should an earlier appointment become available. A few days later, we were delighted to receive a call from Jessica, offering to perform the work on Friday, Sept. 20, only 3 weeks after the quote had been received, and well before late October.
On that day, Zac, and his able bodied crew of Kyle, Rob and Max arrived on site with a large extendable crane, and industrial sized wood chipper. We were particularly pleased with the care they took in positioning the crane on our interlock driveway. Using thick sheets of plywood, short lengths of 4” x 4” posts, and what appeared to be square rubber blocks, their set-upset-up prevented any damage to our driveway surface as the boom of the crane moved from one tree to the next, on either side of our house.
Zac operated the crane, while Kyle, Rob and Max wasted no time scaling the Maple to accomplish the trimming, and looking after the smaller tree trimming/removal, and clean-up jobs. Evidently, they have no fear of heights/could work for Cirque du Soleil!! (See photos below.) From beginning to end, a job well done, and we thank the entire Manotick Tree team for their stellar efforts on a warm Friday afternoon. We hope all had a good weekend!

Manotick Tree Movers provided tree trimming services at our property today. A crew of four arrived at 10 am and conducted a walkthrough before commencing work. Two team members worked in the front, while the other two worked in the back. The results of their efforts are evident in the photos. The crew demonstrated exceptional professionalism and thoroughness in their work and cleanup. We appreciate their outstanding service.
