Very busy to many people being rude, lacking mannerism.

Great diversity and excellent location. Prices are a bit excessive, and as many commented they add some weird tax at the end which they don’t explain and feels suspicious. We also somehow got a free coffee mug from them, so I’m overall confused about what to think ?♂️

We got robbed, they didn’t put one shirt in our bag, we came back the next day, they check the cameras and give us our shirt and they gave us the most fake apology and nothing in compensation. 100% on purpose

Rip-off place. Avoid at all costs.
Not only their prices are twice as much as the other stores on the same street, but they also apply an unknown tax on top of it.
Not happy? Well, they thought this through as everything you buy is non refundable!

As an example, I uploaded an photo of a license plate I bought from their shop, at a hefty price of $14.99 before taxes, and another photo of the exact same license plate from another shop just few meter away, at only $7.99 before taxes!

It's nice to have this kind of store in Clifton Hill because there is no convenience store close to this part of Niagara Falls, aside from the souvenir shops that surround the area. This store sells comfort foods and personal hygiene products in addition to souvenir items.

They add to the bill an extra charge that they claim as part of government tax, which does not exist, they are pocketing extra money while they claim is part of the tax

My little teenage brother was discriminated against by the staff here. We were waiting for milkshakes at Sweet Jesus (located in this shop) and my sister overheard the worker at Sweet Jesus telling another staff member in the “Great Canadian Gifts” shop to call security. But we didn’t think anything of it since none of us were doing anything wrong. We then noticed that we were waiting a super long time for our milkshakes. I’d say like 20-30 minutes at this point. We could tell that he was stalling with our drinks. I noticed that we were being watched hard by these Indian ladies (and we are black btw). Still didn’t think anything of it, but we definitely felt uncomfortable. All of a sudden, a security guard barges in the store (with the Indian lady who worked there & escorted him there, standing behind him) and starts demanding for my brother to empty his pockets and saying that there has been reports that he’s stealing from the store (reports came from the Indian staff). I told the security that my brother has candy in his pockets that I just bought him at the candy shoppe. My brother proceeds to empty his pockets. He had 2 packs of candy, his glasses case, and his airpods. The security asked the lady who reported him if this is what he stole, she looked at the items hard and long. But she knew she couldn’t say yes because they definitely don’t sell any of those items. Conveniently, when the security came, is when the milkshakes were ready. The security apologized (he was a nice white guy. this is not against him). But the Indian lady who worked there, ran out the store, with no apology when she was proven wrong. I’d like to mention that Sweet Jesus is involved because the 2 workers there (both Indian) and the 3 Indian people who worked in the shop, were all talking amongst each other this entire time, coming up with a plan to stall our drinks to call security. There is nothing worse than being discriminated against by another minority group. You can’t come to this country & discriminate other ethnicities. I could tell the security didn’t believe my brother stole anything but had to do his job. My brother is a black boy that was wearing a hoodie and I guess that sent red flags to the staff to have him followed the entire time. Thanks for leaving him traumatized and now will walk around with a feeling that if he wears certain things, he will be discriminated against. I want these staff members dealt with and we would’ve never spent our money here if we knew this would happen. Will not return because of the staff. Thanks for the read.

They charged me 53.96 for something I never got. Buyer be aware. They will charge you for things you did not purchase. I'm on the bus back to Wisconsin what can I do!

Bought cute but expensive sweatshirt there. It was already pilling after only wearing it before even washing it.

If you have too much money left and don’t know where to spend before leaving Niagara fall, shop here as it not only charge 13% sales tax. You will also be hit by another addition called LF (local fees). Not really sure why and they will not tell you that you were charged.

They charge more than the standard 13% sales tax, and also add some unknown LF (tax?) on top. Today I learned tourist scams exist not far from where I live. Criminals!

An item purchased was never put into the bag, the transaction itself had mistakes. Not good service. Tourists cannot visit the place back to demand the item or a refund.
