My son lost a gift card in the store, and the staff was so amazing in helping me find it. My son is only 4 so he put it down and couldn’t remember where it was. They looked through stuff with me, I’m so thankful. This was Dec 22 evening, and thank you to who was working.

Had a wide variety of stuff and fully stocked. Just ran in for a couple drinks and snacks for my motel. I thought I'd try a big bottle of Aloe Vera juice which seemed a bargain for it's size. Unfortunately, it was 6 months expired! So watch for expired goods. They don't have bags so you have to buy one of theirs or bring your own. Luckily my 2 bottles fit into my parka pockets & I stuffed the candy bags in my purse. But all & all a good dollar store. Minus a star for no bags & expired product.

Had super customer service from a young girl right from the get go. She got me a basket as I didn't want to overdo it with a cart. (Fun fact.... I ended up trading in for a cart halfway into my hour long perusing of each aisle)
This store has the best holiday items out of all the locations. Lots of staff working and young ones too so they are actually happy doing their job.
Had the same girl at check out and she bagged my over the top purchases with care while wrapping up glass items and placing the fragile stuff delicately into the large bags.
I spent a small fortune and we chit chatted about relevant to my purchases things like cats and holiday decorating. These are my two favourite topics so it made me right at home.
She offered to help me carry my 100lb bags of decor to my car which I normally would have said no to and struggled
..but what the hell, I'm sure standing behind the cash register loses its lustre throughout a 8hr shift so maybe a bit of fresh air would be welcomed.
Anyhow, great overall experience and I was delighted to not feel embarrassed about lack of self control at this store as normally I feel like I need an intervention.

Will one we step foot in this store again. Worst attitude, and should not be working with the public. They are prejudice. Go in and see for yourself. Instead of an “excuse me” the employee rolls her eyes at me and my child. The cashier didn’t smile, say thank you, not a word. If you want to be judged, this is your store.

Buy your name-brand household detergents here. Cheaper than Walmart. Really nice dishes and holiday decorations. Great selection of Halloween costumes as well. Easy parking. Clean.

By far my favourite Dollarama in the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They do a great job stocking their shelves and keeping the store clean.

Worst customer service. I shopped between 3.20 to 3.40 pm in November 8, 2023. I paid $38.78 and their printer did not print the receipt. One after the other staff member came at the counter and no one could figured out what to do. Surprisingly, they said oh someone put the roll upside down so did not print. You cannot get the receipt. And no one apologized for the inconvenience.They definitely need training in customer service. The manager too.
