The hotel room was terribly small, it was stuffy inside and very very very humid, it was unpleasant to lie in bed, it seemed that the bed linen was wet, there was no heating in the room, and they gave me a small fan. When I was drying my hair with a hair dryer, the electricity went out completely twice, the phone did not work and I had to go down two elevators twice down the cold corridor of the 12th floor with wet hair to ask for this problem to be corrected. The water from the tap was cloudy, I was told that I needed to hold the water for a minute and it would become clear, but nothing changed. All the furniture was covered in dust, when I walked on the carpet in my room without slippers, the carpet was sticky and my feet literally slapped on it, I think because of the humidity. It was also unpleasant that employees entered the room without your permission. Are you a large corporation that gets paid a lot of money for this business and you can't do a complete renovation of your hotel? The hotel was built in 1929, it is almost 100 years old, it felt like I had been there since its construction. The hotel needs a complete replacement of everything, ventilation, sewerage, electrical and much more... The only thing I liked was the location. I only got my money back in one day; I stayed there for two days. The impressions were not very good.

The location of the hotel and the view are very good. The bedding in the room is very comfortable.I gave it two stars because this morning during breakfast, the waiter (who serves the hot drink) was very unpleasant and not at all friendly!!While he was doing his job with the neighboring tables, but serving us seemed very difficult for him.I recommend that he change careers!!!As he left he laughed with his colleague while looking in our direction without saying a word...Otherwise the buffet was very good.Meriame

There is someone else’s hair tie under the console and chewing gum sticked to the boxspring. The room is very humid, the temperature control is not working, the room is very dark given it’s facing the building next door, but we pay more than $500 for it. No mini fridge, very small room. Give you cheesy plastic cup for water and oral hygiene. This hotel have got one of the best spot in Niagara, yet, they are wasting the location by extremely poor management, I don’t want my money back or whatsoever, but dignity as a Canadian, tourists come to Niagara, booking an expensive hotel, and they found this toilet and chewing gum and gross hairtie lying around the floor. That’s just a shame.

This past weekend we stayed at the Royal Crown Plaza. What a terrible experience from when I spoke to the reception ,so called manager. Originally we made three request. One was joining rooms. The other was Fallsview and the other was two queen beds, none of those were honored. originally I was placed on the fourth floor right in front of the pool, my view was the pool , You can smell the chlorine which is hazardous to your health .. I went to the front requested two other rooms. I also mentioned my requests and she said they are only requests does not mean we have to honour them. You would think they would honour at least one, but didn’t she was rude obnoxious was not willing to help, she offered to refund and I could go somewhere else. I don’t know what’s going on with customer service …. My husband and I wanted to bring family from abroad to stay at the Niagara Falls to experience a great time while they’re here ,very disappointed for the amount of money that we paid ..you would think you’d get one of your requests honoured.. I rented 2 rooms on Saturday and not one request was honoured . At checkout a young gentleman who also is the manager was very nice and accommodating and apologized for her behaviour and refunded parking which was $40 per car, we had 2 cars .The appearance of the hotel is contradicting ,The entrance is elegant extravagant but when you enter your rooms, the bathroom looks like it was a closet converted into a bathroom,That’s how small it was ..bugs on the walls and we had double beds not queen beds, that I obviously requested as well.I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST THIS PLACE ! DONT STAY HERE !

First time in Niagara Falls hotel was very convenient. Very nice. The only negative about it is safety. Anybody could walk in and take the elevator up to any room. Most hotels when you enter the Front Desk is right there and you need either a key to get on the elevator, but this hotel did not have that most people would just walk in even if they were not staying at the hotel and they could be on your floor and not even be staying there. If you are considering staying there, this is something to consider for safety reasons.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!Extremely disappointing and frustrating the rooms are dirty, dated, and very small, dated was a little expected but not dirty for sure. Also I complained of them demoing the room next to us and it started at 8am, Atleast work within respectable hours of people being on vacation and them spending all that money to come, like closer to check out, we could hear tiles and screws falling in the room next to us and we were a family with a baby, if you're going to be doing construction state this on your websites so maybe people will consider other accommodations for the time being. For it being fallsview you get an offset view of the falls and it's pretty expensive for how dated and small the rooms are, if you get a two queen room it's very tight, similar to a cheap Motel 6 honestly go stay anywhere else. Also housekeeping randomly entered my room twice, it's extremely violating that your housekeepers just walk into rooms. Also their responses are as helpful as their front desk staff. They don't do anything.

Crown Plaza Niagara Falls was not the best experience we had compared to other hotels. The first room we got our room was facing a concrete wall. We asked to change it and the person at the desk changed it but we had to pay an extra fee. Also, they held on my hubby’s card more than 500$ and their reason was because it was not a credit card and in case of damage caused to the room. Wow we never went to a hotel and they held an outrageous amount on a debit card. When we were leaving, they told us to wait they had to send someone to check the room before returning the funds to our card. Every time we went to hotels, we never had to wait for someone to check our room before getting our funds back.. Never again we will return to this hotel.Rooms: They are ok but we could hear the toilet flushing from the room above us and our bathroom was very small. It’s an old building.

Location is key. However the hotel rooms are lacking. BesidesSmall, underwhelming/out of date rooms, we were also lost without water for 5 hours. Toilet needed repair after and an emergency evacuation that no staff was prepared for: not happy for the money we spent to stay here. I am solidly giving service a 3 and that’s only because the Custodial /maintenance unit was on top of their game:

We had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza this weekend! The rooms were cozy and very clean, we had lots of super hot water to shower with and the beds had tons of pillows. I loved that the room windows actually opened to be able to use the falls as white noise. The best part about the stay was by far the staff, every member we interacted with was so friendly and helpful, by far the best service I can remember in a long time. It seemed like everyone actually cared about your stay! As others have said, there is no mini fridge or microwave in your room, but plan ahead and you can fill your cooler with ice and it’s just fine. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay here!

I was here for the Magic show and all-inclusive package. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the guy on the handicap ♿️ I applaud the hotel for giving him the opportunity, and we had a good time. The location is good and easy access to entertainment district and waterfall attraction.

DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, STUFF MEMBER OPEN YOUR DOOR WITHOUT YOUR Permission! My worst experience with the hotel ever! Their workers OPEN your door without your permission! I just there yesterday with my family and stayed there for one night, and all my experience are terrible. One thing unacceptable is the stuff opened your door at 9:30AM, we were still in bed. I called down to front desk and ask them who and why they opened my door and they find out there is people inside and left. The manager told me that their stuff knocked on my door twice to DO THEIR daily routine to give us free WATER BOTTLE at 9:30AM. He said we didn’t hear it, so the stuff opened our door. This excuse is ridiculous, they even blame on us. I was so mad and told the manager they we were awake already and just still in bed we didn’t hear anything. He said maybe the stuff knocked too soft, he can give me $60 on my bill. I told him to keep it and I don’t need it. I need an explanation about this, he still blame on me that we didn’t hear the knock on the door. I have ask people who stay there if their stuff knocked on the door and give water bottles and they told me no. This is ridiculous and not sure what the STUFF member trying to do to OPEN your door. DONT STAY at this hotel!
