We hired Cotton to demo our barn, and to do the foundations and flatwork for a new barn plus a house renovation. We wanted a company who could do it all - instead of contracting to different people for each part of the process - in order to avoid delays impacting other contractors down the line. Cotton was great to work with all throughout the project. They were helpful and thorough, all the workers were friendly, and any unexpected issues that came up during construction were resolved quickly and professionally. There were no surprises to the quoted cost or to the timelines, which for a homeowner managing their own project is a huge relief. I would definitely recommend Cotton

We hired Cotton to form and pour a foundation for a custom home using the Tuff n Dri waterproofing system. We also required a few extra details for the weeper install. The entire process was a positive experience - all crews from excavation, footings, walls to waterproofing were highly professional, willing to answer questions and deliver a quality finished product. Any issues were quickly resolved and they're handling of the inspections is seamless.
We were very pleased with their service and our framers stated they have never seen such a square foundation! We highly recommend them and look forward to the next build.

Used cottons ready mix services for multistage project constructing a pit to house a chassis Dyno. Dealt with Clint throughout the whole project and was amazed at how punctual and helpful his operators were. Everyone went above an beyond to help me finish this project . I Would recommend cotton to anyone for all things concrete.

You should speak with your drivers about driving professionally when on the road and in a company vehicle. The speed limit is there for a reason and it’s dangerous to be operating a vehicle on public roads either over or even under the speed limit.

From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident. The end result was outstanding, and throughout the process, their customer service was exceptional—always available and ready to assist. The staff were knowledgeable and courteous, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them for anyone needing comprehensive foundation services. I’ve had the pleasure of using Cotton Construction Ready Mix for many years now, and I couldn't be more impressed. Not only was their ready mix of the highest quality, but their customer service was exceptional. In the fall of 2023, Cotton installed a new 200' driveway & barn pad for us. They did a great job. The price was competitive, and they completed on schedule with no property damage or cost overruns. I look forward to working with them in the future.

In an attempt at a "do it yourself" project, I contacted Cotton for some guidance on pouring a concrete pad. The gentleman I talked to in ready mix was very helpful. He gave me some pointers on doing my project correctly, and arranged to have the concrete delivered at a time that was convenient for me.The driver arrived on time, and was very professional during the delivery.The price was fair, and the concrete looks great! I'll absolutely be using them again for my next project in the spring!

This company needs to step up and take care of their properties.Cotton has taken over properties owned by Vine Floral in Vine Street in St Catharines. Since the takeover they have done nothing with the property but let get over grown with 4 foot weeds and the amount of garbage blowing around is disgusting. The three houses have turned into a drug user and homeless haven now and Cotton can't even put a board over a door or a window. This company is a joke and makes millions of dollars and has hundreds of employees but no one can come close a building up properly? Instead they use the NRP daily to to walk through these places. What a waste of taxpayers dollars! Use your own money amd secure the place properly. You don't have a project manager ho is cable of doing their job properly? There is a Cotton truck there almost daily and the worker can't get out and pick up the garbage everywhere? The woman in our condo now won't walk that way due to the garbage and it being unsafe at night with the drug users and homeless people crashing there. This company is unproffesuinal and need to be talked to and fined for this nonsense. A few citizen have contacted Cotton with absolutely zero reply or accountability so we will have to report it to the St Catharines bylaw office. Not even a block away we had the same demolition of a building by a professional company who did everything they needed to do. Ensured everything was boarded and secured and they themselves checked the properties, not tax paid police. To this day they still maintain and keep the empty lot clean. Probably because they have an organized company who knows the profit they make in the end is worth the costs now. Do better Cotton

Terrible company. Unfortunately, the owners of the lot next to mine hired Cotton for demolition of existing house and excavation of new one in April 2023. In the process, Cotton severed at least 9 cables (as per a cable technician) leaving some residents, including myself, without phone, tv or internet for almost a week. Their answer: we don’t do cable locates. Right. But you could have considered all the little red, orange, yellow, and blue flags on the front lawn, no? They also gouged, broke and ripped part of my fence down, dug up against my foundation leaving me with a complete sinking mess. Unacceptable Cotton! I would never personally hire or recommend this careless company. Pictures show the state in which they have left my property, since April.
