Value Village is a thrift store that offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, accessories, and household items. The store provides good customer service, with friendly and helpful staff. However, some customers have noted that prices can be a bit high, and the store's organization and cleanliness could be improved. Additionally, there have been reports of a strong, unpleasant odor in the store that can linger on purchased items. The store has a decent selection of second-hand items, but the experience can be mixed. Customers have found good deals on clothes and home goods, but sometimes the prices seem too high for donated products. The store can feel disorganized, which makes finding what customers need more challenging. The staff are usually friendly, but the checkout lines can get long. Despite these issues, many customers have been able to find good deals and appreciate the store's community-focused business model.
Good selection and friendly staff. The old place smelled very strongly like sour moldy cheese and it made your clothes smell like that too until after the second or third wash, but the new location smells fine! Changed from 3/5 to 5/5!

Better than the old Newmarket location but still has an underwhelming men's section, and there are often people trying things on in the middle of the store because they don't have changerooms

Newer, large and well-organized store. Prices are high on most items considering it’s second hand. I purchased a nice item from their display section.
