Horrible customer service. Screwed my friend over with his bracelet, or something like that. Do my friend a favour and AVOID THIS COMPANY. They will do nothing but break your heart, the same as they did to my friend. Keep your heart safe.

After weeks of getting no response from customer service, I can confidently say this company has the WORST customer service. I placed an order and the order never arrived and the only compensation offered was 10% off another item. They ruined my holiday gift and messed up my order on multiple occasions promising me it will arrive. Please avoid this company, especially this location. Management Frenji deng and regional manager Soheil will not help you either they won’t even contact you to discuss the issue. Please avoid this company at all costs.

Super late order, way past the “expected” arrival. No communication until I called them and even then no help from customer service. Every review here is either 5 star or 1 star. The 5 stars are fake!!!

My recent visit to Michael Hill was a complete disaster. The staff lacked basic product knowledge, the store was disorganized, and the checkout process was a nightmare. I won't be buying anything from them again. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more competent and customer-friendly jewelry store.

I recently visited Michael Hill Upper Canada and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The customer service was disappointing, with staff seeming disinterested and inattentive. I had difficulty getting assistance, and when I did, the information provided was not as helpful as I would have hoped. Additionally, the atmosphere in the store felt unwelcoming. It's disheartening to encounter such subpar service, especially when shopping for significant items like jewelry. I hope the management takes note of these issues and works towards improving the overall customer experience in the future.

1 star is being generous and I wouldn’t wanna waste my time or money at Michael Hill. My boyfriend ordered a bracelet from them and they promised that it would arrive before New Year’s Eve, then informed him that it would be arriving after, just to never contact him again. When he called them to ask where his order was, they told him that the bracelet was suddenly “discontinued” (the bracelet was still available to order on the website and nobody informed him that it wasn’t available until he had to contact them). They ended up offering him 10% off as compensation for keeping his money and wasting his time! Terrible customer service and they will try to steal your money!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Zelda is absolutely no help and very rude. The store does not care about its customers and made a very bad shopping experience. I will never return to this company and frankly don’t think anyone else should either. Management extremely unhelpful. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Writing this review as to be honest, I am quite shocked at the experience we had today.We purchased a Diamond tennis bracelet for my moms birthday last month. My father, my sister and I went shopping there and Mai was SO helpful, friendly and attentive and helped us find the most perfect gift for Mom. She LOVED it! Although it was very very large, my sister and mom went to send it to get resized. The lady that was helping them at the time recommended 5 Diamond studs off. To be on safe side, my mother said 4 only.(To be honest to begin with that is NOT a way to measure or “guess” how much should be taken off. Any professional Jewelry store should have a measuring tape and MEAsure the WRIST and item.We go in today to pick it up, and another lady was first helping us. So she pulls out the bracelet and makes my mom try it and it’s still HUGE. Like dangling off middle of her wrist. We didn’t even say anything except like being confused and saying this doesn’t look right.A very RUDE & aggressive associate comes and she starts YELLING. Her name is ZELDA.Literally YELLING and pointing fingers at my mother and I saying she told us to remove more and the kicker of it all and what made me snap was this phrase she said “ I PAID $200 to have this resized”. I was flabbergasted to say the least. I asked her what she means by that and if she paid it out of her own paycheque? She of course said she didn’t. I to be honest let her know how rude and unprofessional she is. We paid THOUSANDS for a Diamond bracelet, you would think the customer service would align with the quality of work and products.We then no longer wanted help from her so another LOVELY associate took over Naz and helped us and advised me and mom how many more studs we should take off. And of course all of the associates apologized for the situation. Thank you to Mai, Naz, Danette and Arad.I am truly shocked and hope Michael Hill considers what kind of people they are hiring to deal with customers daily because i can assure you, you will lose customers just because of that associates behaviour and tone. We were THIS close to asking for a refund because of this ugly experience.There was 100 different ways she could’ve expressed PROFESSIONALLY that it’s only ONE free resize and that we would have to pay. And would’ve literally paid out of pocket we didn’t mind. She could’ve said you know what usually it’s one free resize but to make up for the inconvenience we will honour this and send it back. So many other things but she chose the most unprofessional way that even going into dollarama you get a more professional customer service than thisNo matter how much bad day you’re going through or what in life you do not take that out on your customers especially in a prestigious store. As someone who works and deals with customer service, I am very aware of the stress it comes with but this was unacceptable. We will only be returning cause of the other amazing associates.Update: after reviewing the reviews, Zelda is apparently a manager. YIKES. Someone with lack of customer service SHOULD NOT be the manager.

I was utterly disappointed at the staffs incapacity to get back to me regarding a jewellery issue that was mentioned to be tarnished although it was 925 silver. The piece is inexpensive but the customer service is terrible. I would never recommend any pricy jewelry to be purchase from Michael Hill. It makes no sense if they cannot attend to their customers properly.Thank you.

I was looking to buy a nice gift for my friends wedding day.An Asian saleswoman was very nice with big heart she has helped me to choose the gift.We were ended to buy a pair of earring and one neckless and I asked for a nicer and bigger gift box to put both gift together, instead of 2 small boxes.Because both gifts were become one set.The sale persons was willing to help but a British accent lady seemed to be manager, she didn't allow them to make me happy with my 870$ purchase, she said firm "No" with negative attitude.And she simply gave me an excuse of ;"it will damaging our inventory!"I was about to cancel my purchases,however I bought the gift only because of the salesperson hep and support and her time at the end.I talked to manager and explained why it is important to have a nicer gift box and I was even willing to pay for nicer box because I would like to represent it as a set of jewellery.It was a wedding gift I would expected to be wrapped nicely at least!She refused and she repeated "I can't", that made me unsatisfied customer who paid about 900$ but haven't been satisfied from my purchase at all.I am an old customer of this brand and I am sorry that some managers are not flexible at all to act as a real manager and to make their customer happy. She simply ruined my enthusiastic about purchasing from MichealHill brand for future.I wish I knew her name!
