This is a beautiful store - well laid out and with a great selection of products. Their cheese section is amazing! Prices are higher than other stores so look for the sales, because they're worth it.

Went on Oct. 17 at 8:30am and had a great experience at the deli counter, produce section was well stocked and neat. Was disappointed with the service at the meat department, unfortunately.
Went specifically for the ground beef on sale, and there was none in the counter. When I asked if there was any, I was told by one of the butchers that they haven't made any yet. Surprising for a front page item, but I asked how long to get some and I was told it would be at least a half hour, that's how slow the machine is.
Now, I understand it's been over 20 years since I worked in a meat department at a grocery store, but I'm confident most ground meat comes in tubes and the meat grinder is not hand cranked.
I have always considered Metro to have one of the best meat departments, but this service falls way below the standard of other stores.
I ended up going somewhere else to get my meats on that day.
If not for this experience, rating would have been higher.

As far as overpriced premium grocers go this one delivers the expectations. The extra cost for the premium meat and produce dont seem outlandishly priced. And they are always clean and well kept. Better value out there, but these guys deliver a nice experience.

What brings me into this Metro is the Bakery and Deli.
This past Saturday just after 6pm, I went to the deli counter, waited 2-3 minutes looking around for someone.
I then whistled 3-4 times, finally a worker came from around the other front side and told me everyone was on break....whata!!!
Went to the Customer Service counter, they had a student working there, she was pleasant but could not help.
I will really miss their Bakery, but I'm taking my business elsewhere. To think I support these workers during their strike last year.....it is all about themselves and not the Customer!

Typical metro. Quality of produce has lowered by a significant amount lately.

I like this metro. It's not a massive oversized grocery store. Metro is generally pricier than, say, Food Basics, but it's nice. The pharmacy is great & I've switched from the Superstore pharmacy because of the positive experience here.

This was actually a really nice metro. Popped in quickly for a protein for dinner and got a nice piece of beef at a decent price.

Today I bought a pack of 3 trout fillet. The 2 on the top that are visible are fresh and the hidden one has gone bad, smells awful. This store is fraudulent. How can I file a complain against management who I believe dictate to employees to sell the spoiled products?
