The Market & Co. is at the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket . You can find different kinds of food restaurants in this mall, pizza, sushi, soup, chicken, bubble tea, cake & bread ....etc. After the pandemic, some business closed down and some new stores opened. Some improvements have been made, more tables and chairs are added. A more user friendly place for all ages of customers. Hope the construction at the parking lot can be done before the summer holiday. I can imagine that it will be a popular place during the summer holiday .

You have nice facilities and great eateries. You need a cleaning crew to upkeep the cleanliness of the tables.

Located inside Upper Canada mall. Market & Co allows you to order from many different restaurants whether you want chicken, sushi, pizza, drinks, and even dessert. We ordered from 7-8 different places. Food was overall ok, not bad. I would recommend Amadeus patisserie for desserts and pastries. The market was clean and tables were spacious. Overall a good place if you want to get a quick meal or dessert.

I LOVE the Market & Co. It’s been a beautiful addition to Upper Canada Mall & I love that they have changed the options available in the Market. Everything from bubble tea & rotisserie chicken to decadent desserts & wine. It’s definitely a staple & a must visit when in Newmarket!

Market & Co. has been kicking around for over three years. As usual, it takes me a while to get with the program. Better late than never. This program suits me! Roughly a decade ago, it wasn't unusual for me to visit Newmarket and Upper Canada Mall. I'd do the run on weekends. Market & Co. is where Target used to be. It's essentially a cross between a food hall and a market. I love the combination of grabbing food (it was takeout only while we were in lockdown number whatever and now dining in is allowed) and buying items, such as pepperoni and popcorn, at various vendors. What brought me to Market & Co. at long last? Patties Express. It opened up recently and I am addicted to its patties. I have been to its location at the Food District in Mississauga a couple of times. I love their patties so much that I was thrilled to hear that York region has a location. As much as I love Food District, I love Market & Co. more. It would be perfect if Pie Commission were here, but you can't have everything. I felt like I was at the best market with cool items. Vince's Market has these huge bags of popcorn. I have a lot of popcorn at home, but a bag was the length of my body pillow. I could so cuddle that bag and snack from it while watching a hockey game or a movie. I've dropped by Market and Co. a couple of times so far. The first time was during lockdown. The entrance on the left when you face the main doors heading in was available. The doors on the right were locked. Now that lockdown restrictions have started to lift again, both sets of doors are open. You can also dine inside with proof of vaccination. It was definitely more lively here last weekend. I have been to Patties Express twice. I love the patties from this place so much. I don't get tired of eating them. You have the option of eating them hot (they are perfect for a meal or a snack) or you can get frozen ones to reheat in the oven when you get home. I am now a fan of The Alley. It was my first time ordering bubble tea in Newmarket. I also had a better experience at this location than The Alley in Mississauga three years ago. Great staff. Yummy bubble tea. Kibo Sushi is amazing. You can order takeout, dine in, or fetch food from Kibo Market. I ended up getting inari, chicken gyoza, a bulgogi onigiri, and horjicha tea from this market. The gyoza were warm and super crispy. You can also get snacks, ramen, and more. It's amazing. I also got a chocolate croissant from Amadeus Patisserie. OMG! Deliciously flaky and delicious. I am still dreaming about it. If you do need to use the washrooms, they are in the far right corner when you enter from the parking lot. They are next to Amadeus Patisserie. The women's washroom was clean both times. The soap, faucet, and dryer are located by the sink and use motion detection to work. There are so many other eateries and shops that I still need to visit and explore. I like this place so much that I don't mind casually heading north to visit. You can hit the mall through Market & Co. if you aren't in a food coma. I am thrilled that I can enter this heavenly food place and not hit a large mall during a pandemic. There is lots of parking. The parking situation is weird when you enter from Yonge Street. You have no choice but to hit a three-way intersection to get to Market & Co. It's your own path to get here. Exercise patience, especially when you have a driver in front of you who had no idea what to do once he was at the stop sign. Ugh! I'll be back. My food experience here will continue for a while and my patties addition seems to be here to stay. (56)

It was my first time at the Upper Canada Mall. The Market & Co. was a really nice market place located inside the mall. They have some very special shops for desserts, pizza, Japanese food & much more. You can easily access all of these small shops in one area.

So sad to hear the Midici just closed! I also saw that Sweet Jesus closed. I don’t know if it’s a lack of marketing or what, but I have been rooting for all the vendors and they can’t seem to be viable for more than a year. I hope the Mall management finds an answer to it because it’s really unfortunate that these businesses and their employees are struggling. If the people of Newmarket and surrounding areas appreciate this place they’re going to have to spend some money here.

What a disappointment!!!!! Not much other than everything seemed overpriced. Have no idea why it is called "The Market" when there is no more there than a few specialty shops and pricey restaurants with very limited menus. We expected to be able to buy some nice fresh fish at Peir 87 but most are packages of frozen. Very little fresh anything. We had been told by several other people what it was like but we had to see for ourselves. They were right. We will not return.

Usually love the market and co experience. Went for lunch to fish market pier 87 cost over $90 for lunch and the food was awful. The oil tastes dirty and the fish didn’t taste right either. When I spoke to the people working the counter they barely made eye contact and told me I was wrong. Will not be returning!
