Today, I started a new journey with KIA for the first time in my life. Previously, I always used American vehicles and never thought I’d consider another brand. But a friend recommended I check out KIA’s new models for their superior trims and features.
When I arrived at KIA of Newmarket, Pedram and Austin helped me find a car that matched my interests perfectly. They worked some kind of magic, finding a trim that met both my desires and my budget. I called my wife to come take a look, and just a couple of days later, we drove home in our new KIA!
No hassles – I definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the market for a car. You’ll find great deals, a wide variety of vehicles and trims, and a professional sales team dedicated to keeping you happy ????

They were so worried about making sure we knew it was 140.00 for any diagnostic. We had an engine light that would come on, we made an appointment and engine light went off as they can’t help with the light is on. It came on again and made the appointment. Asked them to also check the back hatch as it squeaked. That would be another 140.00. So come time to pick up the car, they totally lied and said the engine oil was over filled…didn’t matter that the light was on before I got my oil changed, and they didn’t bother to look at the car door we asked about three times!! So the reset the light and of course it came in the next day. Never did a damn thing! Don’t touch this place it was the last option on earth. Terrible service and a bunch of people that don’t have a clue what they are doing in the shop also if you look at the reviews it was for people buying a car…NO SERVICE!

This is a review only for repair shop and not sale location. Had bad experience bringing my kia there.
1. Even with an appointment, consider +1 hour for your simple maintenance.
2. Installed defective part that after less than a year, it has failed again, but now it's out of warranty...
Was very simple fix on my own, but they said I need a whole new headlight, which is 3200+..
3. Recall said 2 parts need to be changed - only 1 part was changed, which caused failure of headlight.
UPDATE: got recall from Kia to do turbo hose change, brought my car in for a full day... Guess... Still had problems and no parts till next day, no car returned and also no loaners... 2 full days with our car with kids activities that I had to figure out... No apologies from Kia...
Another update on turbo Recall: driving for 2 month with Coolant leaking... Got engine light and smoking under hood!!! Guess what, engine coolant hose don't have clamp... Dripping on hot engine and producing white smoke like it's on fire ?.
They forgot to put the clamp back on the hose... Wow, that's insane how many hick ups with the service department they have...
Do not trust them to do any work with the car, not even oil change!

Lack of Assistance with Warranty...
KIA SOUL.
I submitted the required information for our extended warranty over a week ago, yet I’ve been informed that the warranty team now needs additional details from the start of my ownership. This was not mentioned during our previous communications, which feels disorganized and frustrating as this request was not made initially, leading to confusion and more delays with the vehicle.
The delay has significantly impacted our day to day schedule. We were informed by salesperson Ali Riahi when I purchased the extended warranty (10year / 200,000km) a loaner vehicle at no cost would be provided upon dropping off the vehicle for service. Additionally, we have not received a loaner vehicle, which is making it difficult for us to manage daily work and daily commutes. As a loyal Kia customer, we expected better support during this time and not to be lied to just to get a warranty sale during the purchase. The additional details will be provided to Kia but this does not sit right from a customer standpoint and seems like they are fishing to find a way out of the warranty.
This lack of clarity from KIA feels unprofessional and raises red flag concerns about the process....

My husband and I were extremely happy with our car purchase at Kia Newmarket. Our Product Advisor Marty Murray was very knowledgeable about his available cars. He listened to our questions and concerns and found us a car which fit our needs perfectly. When we picked the car up he went over the features and made sure we understood how the car functioned as things were different from our previous car. He followed up after a few days to see if we had any questions. Thank you for a very positive experience.
