The management at this GoodLife doesn’t care about their members safety at all. I have reported the same individual multiple times for bullying and harassment, and every time I’m told that management will reach out to me and that this person will be dealt with. That was a month ago, I haven’t been spoken to and this individual still is able to walk around the gym freely. I feel so unsafe at this gym knowing that I am not protected or backed up at all by GoodLife.

I've been training with Taylor for the past year and he is a fantastic trainer. I was a little hesitant at first to make the investment in personal training but, I have no regrets after the results I got with Taylor's guidance. He not only has the knowledge to transform your workouts but, he keeps you motivated and picks you up when you are down. Taylor is not just a trainer he's a life coach and I would recommend anyone to work with him.

This gym is much more spacious and cleaner compared to other gyms. I would like to especially thank my personal trainer, Mr. Ali. He is extremely attentive, friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend coming here.

I've been doing personal training sessions with Ali for 6 months now and he's been amazing to work with. Before him, I was incredibly self conscious and anxious when it came to going to the gym regularly. Over the last 6 months he has not only helped me with my cardio and strength training, but also with building up my confidence. He's a great guy, knows his stuff, and is super easy to talk to. I know for a fact that my commitment to going to the gym would have wavered months ago had it not been for him. He's the best and I always look forward to our training sessions together.

My brother Fadi and I have been members for close to a year and have the pleasure of dealing with the nicest and most helpful people starting with the manager Joy and all staff at reception and around the floor. The gym has all equipment needed and is always clean .

I have been training with Anis for one month now, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I started working with her, it was clear that she is genuinely passionate about her job and dedicated to helping me achieve my fitness goals.
One of the things I appreciate most about Anis is her unwavering enthusiasm and positive attitude. She brings an incredible energy to each session, which makes working out enjoyable and motivating. Her encouragement and support have been instrumental in keeping me on track and pushing me to reach new milestones.

Very nice gym, kind and helpful staff and amazing equipment and classes. I have started training with Anis, and it’s been a fun adventure for us, she’s absolutely sweet and amazing. I definitely recommend this location and if you’re looking for a trainer that will train you in every aspect of your body, I definitely recommend Anis, she is the best!

I've been working out with Anis for a while, and she's awesome! She is incredibly friendly, which makes every session enjoyable. The personalized workout plans she write and dietary advice she provides show how extensive knowledge she has in fitness and nutrition! Also, I truly appreciate her ability to motivate and push me to my limits, helping me achieve goals I’ve been dreaming for so long! I started my "renewed" fitness journey last August when my son urged me to signed up with him. I hadn't been to the gym since before Covid and I was still very hesitant. I did work out at home but I wasn't getting the results that I wanted. I signed up for Personal Training two weeks later with Ali. He has helped me with my chronic shoulder and knee pain, and worked with me through my other injuries and health issues. We are almost done our year long journey and I feel amazing! I have learned so much from Ali, he is very knowledgeable and patient. He has guided me through many obstacles and helped me gain my confidence back! And I'm lifting weights that I never thought that I could. He is an absolute asset to the gym and I am really going to miss our sessions when they are over.

Ali is an amazing personal trainer. I had no idea what I was doing when I first came here but working with Ali really made me feel comfortable with the machines. He taught me a lot and my journey wouldn't be going as well without him. Great guy to work with.

I’ve been training with Lucas since October 3-4 times a week and I’m so sad he’s leaving GoodLife Newmarket. I’m fairly picky about who I want as my trainer as I’ve been working out for many years on my own so I know how to workout, but sometimes my personal life gets chaotic and I lose the motivation to get myself to the gym so I’m looking for someone who can still push me, teach me new things, and also be a listening ear as for me the gym is very much there to help my mental health. I see it as my therapy so to speak. I know it’s not the trainers job to listen to your life’s problems, but Lucas made it a safe place to be able to discuss my issues and always gave me great insight and was never moody or judgmental.
Lucas focused mostly on heavy weight training to help me build muscle but we also incorporated calisthenics as well once a week. He’s helped me elevate my pull up strength to 6 pull ups and I can now bench 115
Lucas is always so upbeat and we always found ways to make our workouts more fun. Every Monday we would do a weigh in and rather just looking at the typical number Lucas would choose something to “weigh me in”. Some examples include, penguins, frogs, keg of beer, dolphins, eagles, polar bears, and macaroni and cheese servings!
Another thing we do to keep our workouts fun was incorporate the day of the month and the month as reps and sets. So if it was March 15 he would find an exercise that was 3 (March) sets of 15 reps.
Whichever GoodLife gets the pleasure of having Lucas on their team is beyond lucky, as he really is such a great trainer and person.
