This store has the rudest staff. The one cashier will only happily say hello to people of her own colour (I've witnessed this on several occassions, She also only speaks to customers in Farsi or something similar) if your anything else.. she won't say anything to you and slam your receipt on the counter. I thought I was overthinking this at first when she happily greeted the person before and after me in line, while not saying anything to me after i said hello and slammed my receipt on the counter.. but I witnessed her same behaviour to another customer while I was in line on a seperate occassion.
The attitudes from multiple staff members needs to be adjusted. If they hate their job so much, find a different one. This is a workplace, not a social gathering.
The staff prefer to stand around talking rather than opening the front door on time or jumping on cash to help when its busy. It's a busy store, always with a line up at the checkout and the staff prefer to argue over who's going to help at cash, rather than just jumping on cash to help. Their is absolutely no sense of urgency in these employees, when it comes to work and it really shows.
There is only one female associate (Short hair with glasses) here that greats everyone happily and is always pleasant to see. She also remembers a face. She is the only reason I've kept shopping here for so long.. im always happy to see her on cash when i walk in because i know its going to be a pleasant experience.
But.. I'd rather go pay more somewhere else in the mall than come back and shop at this location.
Disgraceful.

Came into the Dollarama looking for Halloween candy that I need for my kid.. they were sold out but the lady was nice enough to see if any of the Dollarama around had them in stock

Extremely rude and disrespectful staff at check out, throwing water bottles in the garbage like a basketball while there is a line up of customers waiting to be checked out. Cashier would’ve overcharged me if I didn’t catch the mistake, then started laughing. Will never be returning to any Dollarama after that experience and will just purchase products from Amazon instead.

I was there today there was a lady she wore glasses ,she was a young lady, UNDER 30 age she was very rude with us she didn’t know how to talk with the people ,I am also working on sales retail, we always respect the customer, but sorry to say she didn’t have the basic manners ,

Idk who she is but the lady with short red hair is super rude whenever i’ve gone in there, I work in the mall and her customer service is not it.

The cashier have zero manners very rude very raciest very bad behavior with ladies how have scarves the cashier’s should trained good ( I asked the cashier name she didn’t tell me her name the cashiers have a name tag
She is red color hair black and green shirt she is ethnocentrism
It’s second time happened with me because of my scarf

I had a highschool kid charge me for my stuff. I gave him a $20 and my total was $13.80. I told him twice I was gonna give him change so that I can get $10 bill. But this boy looked so confused and didn’t accept my change and said he didn’t hear me. He took some of the change that I gave him as well and put it in the register. I got $6 change from my $20 plus he took some of the change I was giving him.
This is the second time I come here and the cashiers look so confused when it comes to counting money. Hire people who know their math.

I have a very bad hip and im in a walker i needed to use the bathroom and they told me l had to go through the mall. I told her l had to go pee badly and the employees said sorry. I had to put all my shopping down and leave. Your not supposed to refuse someone to use the bathroom. Essentially to someone disabled.

When I go to Upper Canada with my family especially my toddler, there is always a rude staff member including a lady who seems to be in a Manager role. She power trips over "rules" she has made up for the store. One time my husband, myself and my daughter were in there which was very busy the lady yelled in the intercom no outside food or drinks allowed. I can understand that but they sell food and drink items and when a customer did not hear her and had a drink in their hand she would yell at them "I told you no food or drinks in the store" in a rude, volatile way". After that I decided to not go there as much only if I need to.Last night was the first time I needed to go for a specific item, she was working there and complaining that customers had placed items in the wrong aisle and was swearing. I had my toddler with me and it's just not a nice professional, customer service experience. Working in customer service for many many years, this is not someone you want running your store or working in it.
