Worst experience ever, cashier behave very rudely with us. While scanning he throws our item like he didn’t want to serve us. Moreover, while I pay for my stuff he walks away and gave me rude expressions.

The new store manager at this place is a joke. Very judgemental, and will let it be known. Won't even step foot in this store. Love every other Dollarama in town though.

When I purchased my goods, after making my payment, I politely handed $20 to the cashier lady, expecting to receive $5 or $10 in change. However, another cashier, an elderly and disrespectful woman, completed the transaction while her cash register was open and serving another customer. In front of everyone, she rudely said to me, "A few steps away, there is a bank over there to cash your cash!" First of all, I worked as a cashier for three years and never treated anyone like that. Second of all, if you are tired and unable to work, you should not respond to customers in such a manner. Thank you for informing me about the bank, but perhaps someone else could have benefited from that information more than I did. My time was more important than any answer to that lady!What a nice world!

Just had the absolute most uncomfortable experience at this location this evening. When I arrived I could see a few of the staff standing around the cash seemingly trying to sort out an issue.I picked up my items and they were still doing what they were doing but the one shorter Caucasian woman who works there was trying to purchase items using her employee discount, the female cashier (assistant manager) was trying to process the transaction but was having difficulty. The worker who was trying to purchase was making remarks and insults to the assistant manager, saying she “won’t have a job tomorrow after all this”. The male cashier motioned me over to start ringing my purchase through.The assistant manager, out of frustration spoke to herself in Persian as she was looking at the screen, trying to process the woman’s employee discount. The purchasing employee snapped at her “Speak English!”I looked at her in disbelief as she looks at me and says “What?!”I told her “Wow. She’s allowed to speak her own language”She snapped back “Oh is she?? If she’s going to say something, she needs to say it to ME”I looked back at her and said “No she doesn’t and she’s allowed to speak her language”“Well she needs to learn to speak English!”I responded “She does. AND she’s still allowed to speak her own language”. (I’ve encountered the assistant manager a number of times and she speaks English VERY well, just with an accent which is fine.)This woman and her friend were both making degrading remarks to each other about the assistant manager right in front of her.At this point, I was SO uncomfortable but didn’t want to leave the AM by herself with these people and no one else was speaking up for her.I couldn’t believe that this older Caucasian woman was SO bold and comfortable treating her superior who is Persian in such a disgusting manner.I left after the two women left but turned back around to go back to the store to check on the AM. When I asked another worker if she was okay, he said that that woman treats the AM that way and speaks to her like that all the time and he doesn’t know why.I spoke to the AM and told her that that is blatant racism, discrimination and harassment in the workplace and that she has grounds to report the situation. I also spoke to the manager on the phone to advise her of the details of the incident.The AM broke into tears and it was so evident that this was ongoing and that she hadn’t been stood up for.I certainly hope I never see the worker in this store again, her behaviour was so vulgar, it should have been grounds for immediate dismissal. If I continue seeing her at this store, I’ll be taking my (frequent) spending elsewhere.

Why sell re usable bag if you refuse them when we come back to purchase again in the store. And they were not another store... it was your bags. I bought over $ 100 and I had to pick up a big pill at the end of the register... not Profesional.If I would buy new bags you fill them.

Weird hick followed me around the store, visibly hiding his upset when I asked him a question about item and was being difficult the entire time. The cashier, another white person implied I didn’t know what was being sold. I guess it’s my fault tho I did go to the sketchiest plaza in a hick town.

Great prices, clean store, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Went looking all over the area for a key fob battery. Didn't think about Dollarama until the clerk at No Frills suggested. Huge selection. I will think of Dollarama as a go to place from now on.

While very few items sell for a dollar anymore, there are still bargains to be found.This chain is clean, organized, and brightly lit. You might need to search a little, but you won't need to rummage through piles.
