I just bought a Peruvian tamal which cost 8$. I don’t recommend it at all. It has not filling inside just the flour mix which was very dry a little piece of pork with no flavour and dry (not a stew pork) and one black olive with seed which is very unpleasant when you are eating. Peruvian tamal should be filled inside with a very flavourful stew of any meet. I am Peruvian and this tamal doesn’t represent at all the Peruvian cuisine. I have the feel I totally waste my 24$ since I bought 3 of them. It is just garbage now. I am giving 1 star because google doesn’t let me to give No stars at all they shouldn’t sell and offer something like this and even worst a such expensive price of 8$

DO NOT BUY HERE!Be careful with this place, it sells expired products. I compared a granulated kola and noticed that my son had an upset stomach. I looked at the expiration date and to my surprise was that the product had expired more than a year ago. I went to the store and looked at the date of the other granulated kolas that are for sale and ALL OF THEM!!! THEY WERE EXPIRED MORE THAN A YEAR AGO.I told the lady who was serving and she told me that they were going to change them, but the products were still on the shelf. She said she would tell the owner why she wasn't.

I don't usually give bad reviews, in fact I hadn't but this time he deserves it since no one has ever yelled at me like the bald man who works there yelled at me. Terrible service on his part, when another young man gave me the entrance so I couldn't figure out what time (the person who gave me the way also works there) I entered and I didn't have more than 2 minutes (literally) inside. the store, I was talking on the phone when the bald man yelled at me: ARE YOU GOING TO WALK THROUGH THE ENTIRE STORE WHILE TALKING ON THE PHONE OR ARE YOU GOING TO BUY? DON'T YOU SEE THAT WE ARE GOING TO CLOSE!
The man yelled at me and scolded me as if he had the right to do so.
There are ways to say things and at no time did I disrespect him or do anything to make him speak to me that way.

Most of the product they sell is expired. Check every product before buying it and if doesn't have a exp date, just don't buy it. I wouldn't risk it

This store do not care about selling expired food. Not best before but expired. I just got very sick and I was confused how I got sick until I realized the product I bought from the store was expired in august 2021! Almost a year! I was excited to buy products from back home but at checkout I noticed some looked strange and I checked the expiry date 80% of the items I had were expired. Staff tried to convince me it was the packaged date but it said expired

I am a frequent client of this place, that being said I had food poisoning from one product that did not have label, nor expiration date. Beware of the products you buy, and pay special attention to expiration dates.

Alianza Latina Convenience Store is nice and clean, there are a lot of products in stock, it is a good store for home shopping. Food can be purchased here.

Great little latin American store in york Region. Found guajillo, poblano, pasilla, chipotle peppers, horchata, queso, achote, frijoles, mate and many desserts. Great prices.
