Everything we need in a local convenience store. Ed always meets us with a smile when we walk in. He has taken the time to get to know the whole family and greets us by name.

As a regular customer - almost daily - I do not recommend this location and will not shop there in the future. Unfortunately, I must select 1 star. The owner is a good man. The female clerk unfortunately is horribly rude. I attempted to cash in my winning lottery ticket. She accidentally threw it in the garbage without checking it. She refused to admit that this happened. I was forced to pick through the garbage to find it. When I found it with my signature - she refused to accept that it was mine. She also declined to give me the new tickets that I paid for. It was a simple mistake that she made, and I would have accepted that. I had to come back when the owner was in. He was very apologetic having watched the video to confirm that she indeed did throw my ticket in the garbage. In speaking to the owner, he stated that he had received multiple complaints about her. She would be fired if there was 1 more issue. Of course, we did not wish this to happen. He apologized and we continued to do business with him. Most recently, I purchased 2 items including lotto max tickets. The same female clerk was working. I paid via debit (tap). I walked away from the store towards my home, and the clerk came running out of the store yelling "YOU DIDN'T PAY, YOU DIDN'T PAY" at the top of her lungs chasing me down the street. People were walking outdoors and witnessed this lunacy. I said I did pay - she said you did not pay for the lottery tickets. I returned to the store. The reality is she did not charge me for the lottery tickets. I explained to her that her behaviour was unacceptable as it was her error. I can easily accept that she made this mistake, however, she implied that I was a thief. It was terribly embarrassing and unfortunately this time the owner did not have issue with her behaviour. Although the store is very convenient, we will not return.
