I did not like my experience when staying at Econo Lodge in New Liskeatd Ontario. When we arrived to check in, the hotel room was not ready. It took a couple hours before our room was ready. Thing is we were there to take pictures at a wedding so we were on a schedule and needed to be at the venue for a specific time and we werent there because we had to go back to pick up the key.
The hotel itself does not look all that great. Hotel is overpriced.
Honestly would not recommend to anyone.

Great motel! Stayed here during a fishing tournament on Lake Temiskaming. Staff was kind and very accommodating for boats. They even opened the breakfast buffet early for us anglers. Buffet had fresh hard-boiled eggs and good cereals. The rooms were spacious and clean with good AC! Left nothing to be desired for our purposes.

Looks janky as hell when you pull up, but the rooms are clean and nice. Perfect spot right off the highway, better than going into the ditch…..

When at reception I had questioned if the room was a non pet room as indicated when I had paid for it online using the Choice Hotel app. I was told no, because it's a pet friendly hotel. Also, they deep clean the carpets after each time a pet is in the room. That may be so, but in the past when this happened to me I noticed it the next day. It's the reason why I'm get hotels that have non pet rooms. I showed the receptionist the info online and showed where it said, non pet room. I'm not happy having to take a room that may have had a pet in here. Otherwise the rooms are a bit old. But, clean. Close to all the amenities in in the area
Walkability: Close to restaurants. Wlamrt just down the road and fast food places nearby. There's a resaurabt attached to the building

Rooms: The rooms were nice but I was a little uncomfortable with 2 entry points to the room - one from the main hall, and one direct from outdoors.

This was a very friendly and cozy place. Very clean rooms, and a nice continental breakfast area.
