Stopped there on our day tripping, was pleased with the samplers and really enjoyed the knowledgeable answers to my questions. Excellent quality cheese. Worth the stop!

We bought so much cheese here! Their main offering is Gouda (which we bought 5 different kinds), but we also bought cheese curds and quark, which is super delicious! The staff are so kind and welcoming. I will be going here many, many more times!

It’s very clear how much they care about their craft. Fantastic cheeses, well-run farm. My favourite is the horseradish but wifey loves the black truffle. Don’t sleep on the quark, I’m upset I didn’t know such a thing existed before. Perfect on a slice of toast.

Wow ! We went here on the guess where trip,The counter attendant was great to deal with ,Let us try different cheeses,We got the Gold and French onion ! Nice size slabs …It was so good and gone within a few days

Nice place to buy lots of cheese!!! Staff was friendly and cows on site you can venture over and take a look at them if that interests you! We got some cubed gouda sample packs of cheese however they were somewhat dry maybe they sat too long there or maybe they are suppose to be like that idk, go see for yourself and give some of their cheese a try!! UPDATE***After servinf at room temperature its very nice tasting cheese!!! :) thank you

Mountainoak Cheese was our first stop on our Cheese Trail journey and it was one of the best. We were made very welcome with the chance to taste several of their Goudas. We left with two (Gold and Wild Nettle) but were tempted to buy them all.

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Mountain Oak. I was recommended Moutain Oak by a coworker and had to check it out! My husband and I both love cheese! Right from when we stepped foot into store the owners and workers were incredibly kind friendly, and helpful! We purchased the plain cheese curds and the black truffle and smoked Gouda! All was incredible! We came back the next week to purchase more flavours. You can immediately notice the care and craftsman ship they put into their work. We will definitely be regulars from now on! They also have an amazing story as to how they got started :)

I love everything about this family business. Everything is done on property. They raise the cattle to produce the milk for their cheese and they grow the crops needed to feed the cattle. Tough to decide a favorite. Ask for a sample. They also sell beef products and quark. I can't help myself from buying the maple quark each time!
