If you want to buy spaghetti sauce jars, abandoned shaker cups, broken TVs from 2014, and junk from dollarama - all for more than it cost the first sucker, you'll love it here!! Especially if you enjoy being stared daggers at by security (lmao) just as you walk in, so welcoming! Oh and the fantastic new self checkout machines are great for a laugh, especially when it's "really not the goddamn time for this."

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred during my visit to your store on November 8th, 2024, between 4:30 PM and 4:40 PM( please check the security camera). I would like to bring this matter to your attention for immediate action.
As I was preparing to leave the store, I was aggressively ordered by a cashier to remove a shopping cart that did not belong to me. After the incident, I spoke with the manager, Danie, who stated that the cashier had merely asked for his favor, which does not reflect the nature of the encounter.
It is concerning that I was singled out in this manner, particularly as the only Asian individual in the store at the time. I communicated clearly to the cashier that the shopping cart was not mine; however, he pushed the cart towards me in a manner that could have resulted in a serious injury if I had not moved out of the way quickly.
When I addressed this issue with Danie, I was refused the name of the cashier involved, and was told that the individual "fully controls the cart" because "you are not getting hurt." This is alarming, as the safety of customers should be the utmost priority, and this behavior is in stark contrast to that principle.
Violence and harassment are unacceptable in any workplace, and it is troubling to see such actions occurring under the weak management at this location. I was particularly concerned for the well-being of the senior customers present; it is unimaginable what could happen if someone more vulnerable were to be in my position.
I expect that Value Valley, known for its long-standing history and commitment to customer safety, will take this matter seriously. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding the steps that will be taken to address such behavior and ensure a safer environment for all customers.

Great experience shopping here, wish there was changing rooms because you have to try on stuff on top of your clothes so I will keep that in mind for my next visit !

Overpriced and very messy, the bank street value village is more organized in my opinion & they don’t like to price down items that are clearly worn out, and I’m not sure why some stained / clearly damaged used clothes are priced so high.

I ended up getting more than expected I asked the manager if I could put my items on hold long enough to make a donation and receive the 20% off he said yes. Things like that make a difference
