The chicken and butcher service was not pleasant. The person in charge took wrong instructions twice and blamed it on the customer. Very disappointing

Absolutely terrible experience. I sent my 95-year-old grandfather to buy lamb chops, and instead he was given random pieces of meat, completely different from what was requested. When we went back to explain the mistake, the butcher was extremely rude, dismissive, and even tried to blame my grandfather for having a language barrier. Instead of being understanding or inclusive, he kept saying “I am not wrong” and then told us to leave the store.
This isn’t the first time this has happened — every time, he gives the wrong cut of meat and takes advantage of the situation. My grandfather left feeling humiliated and disrespected, which is heartbreaking at his age.
A halal market should be about community, fairness, and honesty, but this shop showed none of those values. Experiences like this are exactly why people end up avoiding small local markets and going to larger, more respectful places like Costco.

I’ve been coming to this store for many years, never disappointed. It feels like back home when I go there. They have snacks and products from the Middle East. The meat shop is also great. I always tell them what we’re planning to cook and they provide me the perfect meat cut that suits the food we’re preparing.

It is horrible. We were disappointed in the quality of the meat, the cleanliness, and the customer service. I purchased ground beef from this store today. The ground beef contained small pieces of white skin and animal hair. I choked when I saw them. Never go back.
